Most Helpful Positive Review good value I normally use the original biore deep cleansing pore strips but decided to try the charcoal box because there were a lot more strips given in the box (18 strips, this is the most I have seen) and because it was charcoal based. The first time I put it on I didn't fully follow the directions and wet my nose, as well as the strip once it was on my nose. That is what I normally do with the original strips but it was a bad idea for the charcoal strips! The strip did not stay on my nose as well and I had a lot of charcoal liquid drip down on my face, it felt cool like mint which I liked but I wasn't sure it would work since it wasn't sticking onto my nose (my fault). I threw out the first strip and tried another, this time following the instructions correctly, only wetting my nose. Once the strip was on my nose I wasn't sure if I would notice the strips becoming any harder than it already was since it didn't feel that wet so I just waited the 15 minutes. Once it "dried" I peeled off the strip (it hurt more than the original strips in my opinion) and saw the results. Overall I was satisfied, it definitely worked on my dad but his pores are larger (making it easier for the strips to work?). I also tried it on my mom, her nose wasn't as wet so the strip did not stay on or pull anything off and had to redo hers. You really need to make sure everything is done correctly, so that may take some time to get used to. I mainly like that it has a lot of strips given and the idea of charcoal as an ingredient.
Most Helpful Critical Review Completely Uneffective I think half of these reviews are lying! I have never had any luck at all with the Biore Porestrips, whether it's the charcoal or regular ones.
They do absolutely nothing for me and feel mostly like I'm sticking masking tape to my nose. They don't get the deep, dirty blackheads out and they really don't give any benefit to my skin that I can see! I've had better luck with scrubs or other kinds of treatments.
Do yourself a favor and skip these--they're not worth the money and you're better off treating the deeper issue of blackheads than sticking something on the surface of your skin and hoping for results.

Waste of money 1
Mari from Odessa
Doesn't even stick to my nose. I really wanted to try them. They're a waste of money. I'll just keep using the original white ones those do a great job!
Works well to declog pores on nose 4
ERose from Newark, DE
Great to use once or twice a week to remove excess oil and debris from nose. Works very well if you have large pores. Removes lots of icky stuff that builds up from wearing a mask all day.
I will not recommend this product it didn't even stick 1
5elemnt from MD
It did not work at all, it didn't even stick to the nose. Will not recommend
Good but not great 4
Nightwing from Florida
I feel like these don't stick well because of the charcoal or something with the formula. I like the white ones better. These take some blackheads out but not all. I'm not exactly expecting ALL to come out but I would like most out. I have soooo many blackheads on my nose and I need something that gets them. The white ones are far better.
WASTE OF MONEY 1
Just no from NV
Save your money and don't buy these. They don't stick to your face even after following the directions on the box. They burn your face. This is the worst product I've ever used. I hate these. Save your money

Does the job 5
Aurora from Santa Ana, CA
My dad and I bought this since we have blackheads due to our oily noses. We have tried it one time, and it worked (for me). My dad did not wash his face correctly, and did not apply enough water. I like to think that I did the steps correctly ;) I put mine lower than he did and I was able to trap more gunk and pull out blackheads. It has been a week and my nose is not that oily. Hopefully, it will prevent blackheads for the next week.
Loved it on the first use 5

One of my MUA friends recommended these strips to me and I LOVED them. They really did the job and got all the gunk out of my nose as well as absorbed all the oiliness from my nose. I definitely recommend these charcoal strips over the regular white ones.
Doesn't really work 2

It's fun but not a good product
Takes off something 3
Kanea from New Jersey
This is just okay. I think it's best to use directly after a shower so it's easier to activate the strip and possibly pull out the blackheads easier. I use this on myself and my husband and it's effective but it takes a little long to dry if your skin is too wet. I found that if the strip of left on too long, it's breaking apart as you try to snatch it off.
Does the most work 5

These are the best Biore nose strips. They seem to get a lot more than the white strips. I will say my skin appears a little irritated after use. But I use the strip, cleanse, and moisturize and it then feels good and smooth.
Sebum 3

It's not taking out the dirt or anything, just the sebum. Nice knowing its useless.
Works Wonders! 5

Great product! My husband will even use them for his nose! Will continue to purchase.
DO NOT WASH YOUR FACE FIRST 4
Deanna from California
This works best if you DON'T wash your face first. I listened to the instructions and washed my face the first time I tried it but it didn't get anything. Then I tried it BEFORE I washed my face, and it worked GREAT.
I will DEFINITELY buy again
Work well 5
Aleelov87 from Rio Rancho NM
It's easier to see blackheads on the black tape opposed to the white tape. They do the job and are inexpensive.
Got a sample, LOVE and will purchase! 5
Angel from Fairfield
I got a free sample of this product and I'm literally about to purchase this right now. This is EVERYTHING I've been looking for in a pore strip. It worked soooo well. And seeing all the gunk come out of pores in a magnified mirror was seriously satisfying if you're into that sort of thing lol! So excited to get this pack.
Will not buy this again. The sticky part doesn't hold 1

Perfect treat for my skin 5

I had no idea how disgusting my pores were until I used this. Took everything out and is very satisfying.
Not worth the hype at all 1
Leah the skincare guru from Ontario, CAN
This is rlly popular but it doesn't do the job at all. Instead, it makes your blackheads worse. I've had experience. I used to only have blackheads on the left side of my nose and ever since using this, my blackheads grew and grew even more. Now, my blackheads are all over my nose. I rlly tried to love this product, I even forced myself to try this 5 times but nothing works. I down-to-earth hate this product. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. This product is so overrated. And dermatologists don't even like pore strips anymore! There are no pros, just cons.
Great 4
Min from Austin
Of course it wont miraculously cure blackheads overnight. After one use I did notice a difference and it made my skin very clean and soft.
Did not work on me like I expected 2
Angiec212 from Pharr, tx
I've tried the original biore pore strips & figures these would work just as good but they did not. The original strips took off more than the charcoal strips. I would stick to the original.
Good product 5
Kayli from Bel Air
I like these. They work better than some other ones I tried in the past. The trick it to exfoliate first and loosen everything up and open the pores, then go in with this and once you put it on, push your skin into it. Basically...you'll need to push the inside of your nose into the strip rather than just pressing the strip down on your face. I've noticed a difference since starting to do that in how much is pulled out.
Works 5

Leaves a little black residue. I prefer the white original ones
