Most Helpful Positive Review Easy to use, lasted mostly all day
I used an ELF primer underneath as my base. I used a brush to blend it out first, then buffed it out with a blending sponge. I found if I only used the sponge it took longer to buff and blend out the foundation. I have tried setting it with (Covergirl Olay) powder and I have tried not setting it at all. It takes around 20 minutes to settle into the skin. After that it has a silky kind of texture similar to Tarte Amazonian clay stick foundation. Overall, I like how it moisturizes my skin and doesn't patch up. I work in a procedural area in a hospital. My mask did take off some of the product around my nose but it was not very noticeable. It just seems like I use a lot of product when I apply. I have been testing its use out for a week and using it every single day means I would need to buy a stick about once a month. My use this week was daily. I used about 2 grams of product. It has some vitamin benefits in it that help prevent my skin from drying out. It was very easy to use. It is great for travel and doesn't take up a lot of room. Very fair cool is the color I bought. I when it first goes on it looks a little pale, but it did oxidize a little and matched my skin tone. I would suggest trying the shades out in the store in person and seeing how they react with the air. Overall I am satisfied with this product and It is a more reasonably priced foundation if you are looking for something similar to Tarte's stick foundation.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for oily skin
I bought these in 3 different shades in order to use for contouring. I saw a youtube video of someone who used them. I bought one of each of these: medium, medium tan, and deep. Anyways. The medium was perfect for my skin tone. The others though were very orangey. Like fake tan orangey. The stick is also extremely creamy. No pressure and it rubs off. Which was great at first but even after applying a powder contour and setting powder over it, it stayed feeling heavy and wet all day. It felt even heavier after the natural oils start coming through and if I even touched my face, I could feel how heavy it was. I tried it again with minimal application but the same result. This product is best for someone with very dry skin. I wouldn't recommend the darker shades but who knows. Maybe someone does need some orange tones. Either way, I returned these and ended up getting the tarte shape tape concealers.

These foundation stick is great. It is not very heavy, but you can build up the coverage. It doesn't crease and worked great on my combination skin. It does have a slight smell, but it goes away quickly. I will definitely be repurchasing this one again and again!

It was hard to choose the correct color. Once I got it home I found it was to light for my skin tone. Due to Covid its hard to test in store.
Dry skin? TRY THIS!
KimberlyP from Virginia
I've used them all. MAC, TooFaced, Tarte, Clinique, Benefit....and as someone with dry skin they all looked positively awful because my skin just wouldn't cooperate. Yes, even with a staunch moisturizer underneath, they just wouldn't lay right. Who knew Ulta was hiding this gem?! If you have dry skin, try this! It lays well, isn't greasy, and stays for hours without much transfer. As a bonus it's not that expensive!

I have never used a stick foundation before. The sale associate told me I should try this as I wanted something lightweight and not greasy. Since I have extremely dry skin, some foundations look horrible on me, but this one since I have been using it, has made my forehead not feel as dry and itchy after applying.
I am totally in love with this foundation!
Super smooth and easy to blend!
Krista from Soda Springs ID
I use it for contour and I only went maybe two shades darker than my foundation color. It works great and blends so smoothly.

I used this as a concealer under my Ulta mineral powder foundation when I ran out of my usual concealer.....creamy and worked/covered well. Never used it as an all-over foundation (I prefer the mineral powder since it's quicker and more sheer), though.......
Loved this product

Perfect coverage lasts all day

Needed a shade that would be easy to apply under regular shade of foundation to contour.
Dupe for Bare Minerals But No SPF
LauraSL from Chicago
Goes on and feels exactly like Bare Minerals. Very moisturizing, so great for my dry skin. Not for oily skin. Taking off a star for no SPF.
Finally found a make up perfect for my face

Don't hate but don't love
Sam from Sally, NY
I don't hate this but don't love it either. It's not full coverage. It's very light so use it on light makeup days. Very moisturizing.
I loved the color and the stick foundation

Since I first used this product I was hooked! Haven't used any other product since!
Des from New Caney- Ulta
I have used this brand before, but my previous was became a shade too dark. I ordered a shade below my previous order and it is a perfect match! My make up looks smooth and the product is very creamy and not drying at all! It doesn't feel heavy. There is a slight smell to the product but not like a perfume scent. It doesn't bother me though, you can't smell it once it is on your face.
I would buy again
Claire from Anaheim
It's easy to apply, you have to swipe it on your face and use a brush or fingertips to blend. Not a bad formula, it dries out my skin a little bit at the end of the day but that's pretty standard because I have dry skin.
Good coverage, buildable.
Great foundation! Totally underrated!
Meghan from Indiana
This is a great foundation! It is medium coverage, which I like. I would recommend buying when Ulta has a buy one, get one sale. I do think you could go through this pretty fast. It was not too dry on my skin, and it made my skin look even without being heavy.

Silky and smooth. Covers great!
Better than Fenty
Sun kissed queen from Los Angeles
I would give it 5 stars but it has such a strong smell. It will go away after 10 mins but very intense. The Fenty stick was so dry I couldn't even contour my nose and I have really oily skin. This one is smoother easier to apply. Gives me a sun kissed look perfect for summer where I want to less powdery and more dewy.
Colleen from Greenville, NC
I love how easy and quick it is to apply! Plus it isn't heavy! Only downfall is that it won't last as long as a bottle would, but great for on the go and to keep in your purse!
Em from Cleveland, TN
I have rosacea and mild acne on my face, and this completely covered all of it. It also looked and felt smooth. it was almost like i put moisturizer on my face.
My Favorite foundation stick

Do not buy the 'light' shade of your skin is actually light. That shade is quite dark.
Easy-to-use and looks great
