Chi loses 2 stars because of poor design which makes using this otherwise really nice tool a hassle. This tool works really well. Dries my hair super fast and leaves it bouncy and shiny. Not Good
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I bought this dryer with high hopes of it drying my hair and leaving it smooth and shiny. Not happening! The dryer itself is good, light weight, temperatures not too hot and handles well. But, it left my hair SO frizzy. My hair is somewhat wavy, not very thick and normally easy to dry. But the bristles on the brush are both nylon and hard plastic. I believe this is why it made my hair so frizzy. The bristles pulled the hair more than a normal nylon bristle brush would have. I tried it a couple of times just to make sure and results were the same both times. So I would have to give the dryer a thumbs down. Sorry.

This is a great product but not for the price. I did see the same product at another store for cheaper. It does a decent job at blow drying as well as styling the hair. The heat is not as intense as I expected it to be.

I had a Revlon hand wand and didn't like it much because those bristles hurt my scalp when I rolled the brush. It was also almost too hot to handle. Although the Chi was pricey, I was not in love with my revlon any longer. I liked how the roller was on the Chi. There were no sharp bristles and the roller didn't get caught up in my hair. The temperature was pretty decent also.
