Q
Can you mix the strength and shine and use them at the same time?
Asked by Zconway98

You can mix these and use them together but you will not get the maximum benefit of what each Pro Boost has to offer. We would recommend using the Strength and a few days later follow that up with the Shine. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
I'm looking for a hair product that will seal and coat the hair follicle to add maximum strength and shine. I had a hair stylist who would use the clear gel like (toner?) product on my hair after color to seal and tone the hair creating tons of shine, smooth as silk feel and bounce back to my hair. I think it was a product normally used after coloring hair to close the cuticle and tone any orange color, but she also used it as a treatment on my hair occasionally to get the luster and shine back. It was clear, super sticky almost like a thick honey and had a very faint smell of some kind of like paint or paint thinner. It was bomb and my hair Loved it. Is this what this product is more or less for or intended for ? Do you carry any product that is close to what I'm describing ? Thank You!

Hello! The Pro Boosts are conditioning treatments used in place of your normal conditioner after shampooing. We would best recommend our Color Reviving Glosses for what you are describing. There are a few shades to add tone and shine as well as a clear gloss just to add shine. 🙂 https://www.ulta.com/p/color-reviving-gloss-pimprod2004812Was this answer helpful to you

This products ROCKS!

Like ALL Madison Reed products, BOOST does not disappoint! Easy and quick to use, it literally SEALS in the color that you just applied. It smells great and feels great! A wonderful thing to add to your summer coloring ritual, as time in the sun is not your colored hair's friend.

Disappointing

I've been looking for a good deep conditioner for a while. Unfortunately, this was not a winner for me. First - I have a lot of long, straight, fine hair. This 0.5 oz tube was only about enough product to treat half of my hair. I supplemented with the usual conditioner that comes in the coloring ...

I just used it for the first time. My hair is shinier and a little softer than what it was. I would recommend it for straight hair. But since my hair is curly which means it usually dry I think I need something a little stronger.
