Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent curlinig brush
Thank you Hot Tools for coming out with a 1 inch curling brush! This is perfect for women with chin-length hair. The 3/4 inch is a bit too small and the 1-1/4 inch is a bit too large. With the silicone bristles, this curling brush "grabs" the hair a bit more and allows the curl to set better as well. I ordered mine in purple -- love it!!

I have shoulder length, fine, processed hair. I had a similar product, but lost it traveling. I purchased this because they claim the silicone bristles will help protect your hair from breakage. False! All I use this product for is curling my ends under and it ripped through my hair! When it finally released my hair, it was also incredibly static. I tried it a couple times and it's just not worth it. Back to the store it goes!

I was looking for a hot brush to give me more volume and a blowout looking finish to my medium-fine hair. The brush is not SUPER terrible but still not exactly what I wanted. The silicone bristles actually suck. If the were to create this and change the bristles to make it more brush like I think this tool would be perfect! When you use it for the first time it has a weird smell too. Idk I don't think it's worth it and I'm going to return and try and find something better.
Depends on whether the company stands behind their product.

I really love the ease of using this device. Super disappointed in the silicone bristles falling out. I would accept a trade and give it another try but couldn't recommend it if the company doesn't stand behind the product.
I really wanted to love it

I was looking for a hot curling brush just like this one. The problem is my shoulder length, soft wave hair kept getting stuck in the silicone bristles. Yes, I knew not to wrap it around more than once around the brush so it wouldn't get stuck but it still did! It pulled some of my hairs out and it was painful. The bristles are so tightly packed that dirt gets caught in there and it was impossible to clean it. I tried to work with it, I must have had it for at least 6 months before giving it away.
Great curling brush

I purchased this curling brush yesterday, and I really like it. The silicone bristles are soft, and they grip my thick, wavy hair really well. It gives just a little bit more definition to my wavy hair that can sometimes fall flat later in the day. If I use this curling brush, it gives my hair more body and consistency in the "wave" that is naturally occurring.

I recently purchased the HOT TOOLS SILICONE HOT BRUSH STYLER in hopes of giving some extra body to my curls and recurling my ends on the days in between shampooing. I have fine, highlighted medium length hair. I tried using this product initially on my hair the day after washing it and the silicone bristles seemed to grab my hair and would not release easy. I thought maybe this was due to product/hairspray being in my hair, so I gave it another shot with clean, dry hair the next day. The result was exactly the same, my hair seemed to get caught on the silicone bristles and once curled around the iron was stuck. I had to manually unroll it off and it resulted in my hair being burnt on the ends. It also put static electricity in my hair that I don't ever have so I don't know of any other reason other than I had just used the product. I will be returning this product immediately.
I would buy this product again and again!

So easy to use - love that it has heat setting - grabs my fine hair much better than hard bristled iron and curls hair well. Also easier on the hair and no burning of hair or scalp!
I will definitely would buy this again

I have told my friends how great this hot brush styler works

Love the bristles, very soft on your head. Curls very well.
Doesn't wave all of hair only turns under or flips out ends

This curling iron is an easy to use brush that is also safer than the barrel / clip style iron. I bought it for me and my 9 yrs. old daughter. She wants to be able to do her own hair & was looking for something to make her straight hair wavy. I was looking for something to smooth out my curls & add larger waves. This curing iron brush does neither, honestly. It some how only smooths & straightens both of our hair & only adds a bend at the ends of our hair. It was pretty expensive to not have done what either of us really wanted so I may have to return & try something else. But, if your goal is to smooth down frizz & flip the ends under or out then this is a great heated round brush! It heats fast & gets up to 400 degrees. It does not snag or pull hair & the silicone bristles or gentle on fine hair.
Silicone pulls at hair
Whinniex from Seattle
I was hoping to find a styler that combined a curler and a round brush into one. This one isn't it. The silicone bristles made it almost impossible to get a nice curl without it tangling and getting caught in the bristles. Not sure whose hair would be able to work with it. I don't necessarily have the most tangled hair either. I feel like if it wasn't silicone it would work better. It has a good amount of heat for the cost and is a good size, I just wish it would actually work the way it was intended.

I love the size. It stays nice and hot. Very easy to use.
This is a great styling tool!

I absolutely love this product! It gets rid of the frizz and I can either curl or straighten my baby-fine hair. It is heated, but I can't feel it against my scalp at all--which is great! It is lightweight and very easy to use.
Would NEVER purchase again and would NOT recommend

I have limited range of kotion in my hands. This styler has a small barrel handle that I am able to grip. The silicone bristles are gentler on my hair than plastic bristles.
Lissy from Nashua NH
Short layers. Can curl or smooth out. Easy to use!!!
Love this curling brush!
Pam from York, SC
My hair is fine. This curling brush does get stuck in my hair. It provides just the right amount of curl and volume for my hair's texture.
I loved it until the bristles started falling off
Di from Geneva ohio
It gave my hair alot of body and shine until the silicone teeth started falling off one at a time.I buy alot of products but after this happened I do not know if I will make any future purchases .It all depends on how this is handeled.I will wait to hear from you about this.I will never purchase this perticular product ever again.
Not for longer than shoulder length hair.
Makeup Enthusiast from Yo mammas house
Heats up good and fast but i have semi long hair and this just didn't curl my hair just the ends—-slightly. I could have kept it to quickly do my side bangs but not worth it just for that. Tried using it as a straightener almost, kinda calmed my hair but returned it. Good only for short hair perhaps!
Softballjoan from Los Angeles Ca
So glad I bought this! It was half off so I figured why not?! Easy to use. Gives volume or curl. Priced right!
better than Instyler version and cheaper!
MsSac from Sacramento, CA
Tried this and the more expensive Instyler version. This is cheaper, hotter, and the silicone tips really grip the short hair. Instyler has hard plastic and only gets to 400 degrees.
Hot Tools delivers value and high quality. Love this brand!
Silicone bristles fall out
Beach lady from South Carolina
This product was great for a short while, now about 35% of the bristles have fallen out. Turned out to be worthless. It was well cared for.
