Swivel eyeliner up only 1/8-inch (pencil doesn't automatically retract, and too much exposure to air can dry it out.) Line eyes. Use smudging tool on opposite end to get desired effect. Allow color to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance. Recap securely to protect from drying out.

Why does it seem like the eyeliner is empty so soon after you purchase? I can see others have been asking this question. This is my favorite, no-run eyeliner but if this runs out just as fast as the last (under 3 weeks!) I will have to ditch this. I did just order two more in case I got a defective product but I do see others asking about this so I don't think it's just me.

What is the difference between the quickliner intense and the quickliner?

Clinique Quickliner For Eyes Eyeliner and Clinique Quickliner For Eyes Intense Eyeliner both are long-wearing, transfer-resistant, smudge-resistant, water-resistant automatic eyeliner pencils that twist up with no need to sharpen. The main difference will be that Quickliner For Eyes Intense Eyeliner has the intensity of liquid liner in a richly pigmented, automatic eyeliner pencil. I have been using Clinique's various types of eyeliners for probably 20 years now. I have this eyeliner in black, grey, brown and violet. I love the smudger as I don't like a harsh line. This goes on smooth and stays on great. I would recommend this product, especially to those over 50 with drier lids like mine.

I love this eyeliner, it glides on so easily and smooth with no tugging at your eyelid. The colors are terrible, sooooo very dark and misrepresented by the color charts. I have ordered three of these and have given them all away. Expensive mistakes.
