Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I saw the comments about the iron not curling/hair holding the curl and thought no way are they telling the truth! Yes, they were! I have thick hair so I tried smaller sections. I tried acting like it was a marcel iron. I tried curling and counting to 10. If my hair wasn't slipping out of the iron itself, the curl dropped as soon as I took the iron out. I also choose the 1" so it would make a tighter curl that would drop a little each day. I did my hair about 15 mins before leaving the house and it was little more than a bump to my recently trimmed hair. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's dual voltage and the shine it gave my hair was incredible! If it were a flat iron, I would have loved it. I'm sad it didn't work well, I've had better results curling my hair in the humidity of West Africa than this.

This is not a good curling iron for fine hair.
While the curling does heat quickly and feels nice to use. It does not hold the hair well when curling. It does not seem to clap tightly enough, my hair just slide right out of it. So I would not recommend this for anyone with fine hair.

I was using a wand for the longest time but my hair wouldn't hold the curls & by the time i got to work my hair would be straight and flat. This iron is amazing!
