I have 3b/3c natural hair. I very rarely use heat...maybe straighten my hair once or twice a year. Had an even and wanted my hair to have a wavy look instead of my normal twist out. A fellow naturalista recommended this and the rest is history. I've been natural for 9 years and this is likely be best styling tool I've ever used for straightening/stretching.
I was so excited for this product as I have been in the market for something similar for a long while, but I'm really disappointed with it. My biggest complaint is that the brush is too soft; the bristles are too short. I have long hair, but it's thin/fine and I still had to use a regular paddle brush on the other side of the dryer during. The quality/material does not match up with the cost of this product.

I've had this for about a year. Today I was using it and it started making some staticky noise and smelled burnt. I immediately dropped it on the floor, clicked the yellow button and unplugged it. I have their round brush too and now I'm scared to use that as well.

Blow dried my 4c hair so good!

Great for natural hair and easy to use and doesn't feel like it's gonna damage my hair like a blow dryer can

So I have always had to straighten my hair after blow drying because it would be pretty frizzy and fluffy. So i was worried if i bought it that I would still have to straighten my hair some… I was so wrong! Now I just use this product and I'm done in 10 minutes!!! Best product I've ever bought. It even gives your hair volume like a round brush!

Sooooooooooo I was very skeptical on if this hair dryer would do it's job. I have hair type 3a but it's a lot! I seriously blow dried my hair in 10 minutes!! I'm about to order another one as a back up!!! It usually takes me 1 hour to fully blow dry hair!!

I have 3B/3C curls and this dryer brush worked SO well (and quickly) on natural hair! I had bought this and the barrel brush version, both from revlon. This one won't get your hair as straight as the barrel brush version, but I don't see it as a negative because (1) paddle brushes aren't meant to blow hair out bone straight and (2) it's much quicker. The barrel brush version requires perfectly detangled hair to get through even the smallest sections, so I preferred the paddle brush version anyway.
So long as your hair is at least slightly detangled, it quickly brushes through and blows out your hair. You can also use large sections with ease! I did half my head in 5 mins or less when my hair was down to my chest. The only reason I didn't keep this product is that I buzzed my hair off about a week after purchase. Otherwise, would've kept forever!

Excellent for styling and controlling wet hair.

This only blows out of the top 1/3 of the paddle. I exchanged it, thinking the it was defective, but the second one did the exact same thing. Seems to be a design flaw. I returned the second one too.

I wasn't sure it would work, but it dries my hair in a reasonable time and my hair is much smoother.

The brush is very large. I have shoulder length hair. For a person with very long hair it might be a good thing but for me it's just too big and bulky.

I used this tool to blow dry my daughter hair and it only took 10 mins. Me and my daughter have natural 4C textured hair and it usually takes a long time for us to blow out our hair. The blow dryer took a hour off our hair styling routine!!!!!

I bought it on sale and honestly don't think it was worth the sale price. I'll keep for when I travel.

You just have to find the correct positions to hold the dry to dry your hair. It's a very nice dryer. My hair long and I had no problem dry my hair. It works well.
Kiki from Miramar fl
I bought it because someone recommended it and I don't like to blow dry my hair because it takes too long. My hair is thick and I recently cut it so I wanted to see how well it could work with 4c hair

I been looking around for something like this and I have to say I absolutely love it. I have 4b hair type and this just makes my hair so easy to work with .

You only get air and heat on the top bristles and even on high that isnt strong at all. Would not recommend

Dries hair and brushes in one step. Brush is pretty gentle on my straight hair. I love that it dries my long hair and combs it out simultaneously. Great tool and doesn't get too hot.

I am literally someone that will head bang my hair just to get air dried quickly in the morning. I don't like using a lot of heat on my hair but sometimes I need to dry faster than my normal routine. I used this today after the shower, and it took me less than 10 minutes from out of the shower, apply product, and dry hair. it was very convenient. One thing that is a bonus I would say, is that for the 1st usage it did not have a burnt plastic smell. That seems to happen whenever I get a new heating tool for my hair. I have long brunette hair that is a bit thick but thinner on the ends. I recommend this for anyone late doesn't use heating off den or if you do just use your heating product beforehand of course. It was perfect for me!

I own the round brush volumizer version and it's so much better. This left me with a ton of fly-aways and my hair was borderline frizzy, which it rarely looks since it's mostly straight and easy to smooth. I'd almost recommend making this in flat-iron form with the ability to grip. Unless you're flattening the brush against your head, it doesn't hold the hair. I got it on sale but it's not worth keeping for me.
