I think the reason a lot of people have rated this poorly is due to its very low coverage. With that being said, you really have to manage your expectations with this one. Horrible reformulation of the former tinted moisturizer!
I have used the Ulta Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 for several years in lieu of foundation. I loved how it felt like I had nothing at all on my face and the coverage was enough to cover imperfections and even out my skin tone, yet not look so "made-up". Gives a very natural and comfortable light coverage for fresh " no make up day" look. Im happy with it.
Did not like the new formula
I loved the old formula of this product. This one is too thick like a sunscreen instead of a moisturizer.
Wouldn't buy again...
I appreciate how there is sunscreen in it... but overall the product feels sticky on my skin and I don't think it offers enough coverage/tint. I can't tell any difference in skin tone after putting it on and I don't want to layer it on because of the stickiness.
Minimal coverage SFP
This is exactly what I was looking for for the summer! We are traveling a lot this year so I was looking for something to even out my skin tone but also provide SFP and not look cakey! I love this with some primer and Matte setting spray! It gives the clean aesthetic that so many people seem to be doing for right now!

I've never been complemented so many times, and gives a light tint of color not like a foundation at all, looks so natural and builds nicely with concealer.
