- Blue Tansy Oil: Tanacetum Annuum, or blue tansy, has calming effects, and has been shown to help repair the appearance of damaged skin from breakouts as well as an anti-wrinkle assisting agent.
- Black Cumin Seed Oil (Nigella Sativa): With its moisture-retaining qualities and antioxidant properties, black cumin seed oil assists with keeping the skin elastic and helps fight damaging free radicals that cause wrinkles and fine lines.
- Rosehip Seed Oil (Rosa Canina): Scientific studies showing rosehip oil’s promise make it a great option for those looking to reduce visible signs of aging or or diminish bumpy or uneven texture. Rosehip oil is full of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids to nourish the skin.
Formulated Without
- Sulfates: DIME products never contain skin irritating ingredients such as sulfates. Sulfate-free products are gentle on the skin, and can help decrease the chances of an allergic reaction.
- Phthalates: Certain phthalates (like Dibutyl Phthalate, aka DBP, or DEHP, and DEP) appear on product labels, but most typically remain unlisted, hiding under the term “fragrance.” Since some phthalates have been linked to hormone disruption, DIME avoids them.
Dispense 3-4 drops of oil into the palm of your hand. Gently rub the oil between your hands and lightly pat and press onto the entire face, neck, or affected area. Apply in the evening after moisturizing. DIME's Blue Facial Oil can also be used as a spot treatment.
As a Conscious Beauty brand, DIME features sustainable packaging. Once product is empty, twist off cap, rinse bottle, and toss into recycling bin.

Is this product gluten free?

All of our products are considered gluten-free, but we always recommend consulting with your physician before using any products, as everyone’s situation is unique. The only products in question are the Gentle Jelly Cleanser and Whipped Exfoliating Mask due to the presence of Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. However, our Raw Material Suppliers have assured us that it is not derived from wheat, and we have certification confirming that it is gluten-free. We hope this helps! Should this be used as the final step in skin care routine? Serum, moisturizer, then Blue Facial Oil? (At night). Does it reduce acne control efficacy if utilized last?

It comes down to the molecular weight of the formula. Oils typically have larger molecular weights, so they take longer to absorb into the skin. If a cream is placed on top of an oil, it can prevent the cream from properly absorbing. The Blue Facial Oil is definitely a thicker consistency so it's ideal to go on top of a moisturizer. We have a few customers that will add a few drops to the moisturizer as well if that’s something you want to try! We hope this helps! Hello, is this to be applied as the last step in skin care routine? Does it affect it's acne treatment efficacy if a serum then heavy moisturizer is applied first, and blue facial oil last? Thank you!

Can i use this as my moisturizer before foundation?

You can use the Blue Facial Oil prior to applying your makeup, we however, recommend letting the product completely dry down and soak into the skin before application of makeup for the best results! Great for sensitive skin!
I was hesitant about using an oil on my super sensitive skin. I love this product! It helps soothe and calm redness/irritation. Helps blemishes fast. Makes my soft and moistured without feeling oily. A few drops goes against long way and absorbs quickly. I use it at night and in the morning under my makeup without any problems. Did I mention I love ththis stuff?
Couldn't get past smell
I wanted to try this due to the reviews but the scent is intense!
Really Hydrating!
I was scared to use this because I've always been scared to use oil on my face. This winter has been so harsh on my skin though I was desperate! I saw this one had good reviews so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did!! It smells like... hay and flowers which might annoy some people who are sensitive to smells. But the hydration this gives is amazing! I follow the directions for application for the evening. When I do my morning routine I can just feel a huge difference in my skin. My skins texture was WAY smoother, making it a great canvas for my make up now. This stuff really is a holy grail!
Tried and true
Don't let the smell fool you. I'm not acne prone per se but I do get hormonal acne on occasion. Not anymore! I love dime products so I gave this a try and it's a must have in my skincare routine. I use it under moisturizer at night rather than after.
What is this sorcery?!
Okay, okay… so ive tried thousands of dollars of skincare and ive always had acne. Even after two rounds of acutane, I. STILL. HAD. ACNE! I was researching blue tansy and this popped up. It had good reviews (like many others), but would it work for my difficult skin?! Let me tell you, this stuff is pure magic. My skin has cleared up and is actually glowing. I never, in my adult life, thought I would be able to have acne free skin. Please give this a try!
