This does not come with a brush applicator
The colors are pretty, but this comes with an applicator with a sponge on both ends. The applicator with the brush on one end and the sponge on the other does not exist. Not pigmented
I loved the way these colors looked in the pan but unfortunately they are just not pigmented enough. The pink colors do not show up on the skin and only leave a satin-like finish. I really like this color palette and hope Clinique will work to improve this but until then I won't be repurchasing.
Not pigmented or true to pan
I love all things Black Honey and wanted something hypoallergenic, so I was excited to try this. I was disappointed. A few of the shades have a nice satin finish, but for the most part they are not buildable, are very hard pressed and difficult to put on a brush or sponge, some shades are almost dupes of one another, go ashy when applied, and colors are not true to pan (are much more sheer). I depotted the pans and kept about half of them.
Disappointed
I've been eyeing this palette for awhile. The color story is perfect for every day use, sleek packaging is perfect for travel. Ulta staff told me palette includes a 2 sided brush. I was disappointed that it was not a brush but a sponge tip applicator. The shadows are very lightly pigmented. I used two different eyeshadow primers but neither helped. An allergic reaction sealed the deal. Unfortunately, I will be returning this.
