Comments about Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer:

I was so excited about this but I was dissapointed!

Note: I have dry combo skin.
Not lightweight like the description says. Has a weird smell.
The worst part is I felt like my skin was lacking moisture after putting it on. I get that its oil free but it is a moisturizer.
Overall it could be good if you have really oily skin that does not need alot of moisture and dont mind the weird smell.

This smells awful. I only used it once and had to return it right away. I couldn't stand the smell being on my skin all day. It didn't make my skin feel good either. It felt thick and heavy.

Comments about Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer:

I have done a lot of research, and chemical-based sunscreens are a huge no-no! Avobenzone (sp?) and the like are hormone disruptors! So, I went on a quest. It was hard to find an affordable natural SPF that was also a moisturizer. :-( I have now been using this a couple weeks, and this is it!! It doesn't take a lot of product, and it doesn't leave a white residue as long as you take a min to blend well. ---And this is the case with all zinc-based sunscreens, as the chemicals are not melting into your skin...which is a good thing! :-) I also tried a less expensive brand, (not sure I can say on here, initials are A.N.) which was decent, but I love this one, and since it will last me a long time, I can wait for a coupon/points and get it here for about the same price!

Comments about Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer:

I use this as my daytime moisturizer and spf with my skincare routine. I'm not 100% sure it is love but it is fairly good. The essential oil that is strong is a little much for me as others say, but it does go away.
I may try another brand next time to see if I like this better. For now, I'm still just in the opinion that it is good. I am looking for mineral based products that are low EWG rating and this seems to be one of a few that I can find without shea butter.

            Works well

Comments about Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer:

I have been using this for about a yr. I am 42 with fine lines & oily skin. It does go on with a whitish tint but after I rub it in a bit & it soaks in the white goes away. It does not change the texture of my makeup & I have used 3 different foundations & CC creams, 4 different concealers, many blushes & highlighters & 3 powders. It does not break me out like many of the moisturizers & sunscreens I have tried. It does however make me look a but shiny, but once my makeup is on the shine is gone. That little tube last me almost a year so its a good value. And I like that it doesn't have a prefumey smell & its in a tube so I don't have to dip my fingers in a jar. Sticking with it, its working great for my skin type. The physical sunscreen works all day.

Comments about Juice Beauty SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer:

Very good physical sunscreen. I found this after a lot of research. I am sensitive to chemical sunscreen, it gives me a rash. This one is pretty good. I like the minimal ingredients. It goes on smooth and is easy to apply. I barely use half a dime and I apply it like makeup. I dot it on my face and rub it in. I'm brown skinned and it does leave a little white sheen but nothing too obvious. It dries up well but eventually the skin gets greasy. I just use some liquid foundation rarely on top and goes on fine. But Like I said after an hour or so outside, my face gets shiny. But I don't use make up usually and I don't mind it if it protects my skin against the sun. I do have combination oily skin and shiny t-zone especially in summer. So, I would say this product doesn't help make it better but that's not what it is for. I would use it.

                    • Q:

I'm 32, I have acne prone skin in my t zone. I just started Retin A and need a sunscreen and good moisturizer. My skin is usually on the oily side, but since starting the retin a my skin is more dry, but still prone to break outs and my skin is always sensitive even more so now, I wasn't sure if this product was for me, or if the sheer would be a.bertter option, I was concerned about the sheer breaking me out, tho it does seem to be more moiaturizing. The retin a is causing my chin area to be the most dry,.sensitive a bit tight and a bit flaky. So i don't want anything to cause more irritation, I k ow it has lemon balm in it so wasn't sure if that would be a good idea or not, please help me with my psychotic skin!

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like both our Oil-Free Moisturizer and Oil-Free SPF 30 Moisturizer (for day-time) would be good options for you as they are designed for blemish-prone and oily/combination skin types. These are both designed to help hydrate and soothe the skin. You can try the Oil-Free SPF 30 by itself and if you feel you need more hydration you can layer the regular non-SPF Oil-Free Moisturizer underneath the SPF 30.

Should this moisturizer be used with the blemish clearing system or the one without the SPF? I love the rest of the products in that line but I'm wanting some sun protection too. I'm oily with mild breakouts

Thanks for reaching out! Yes! This Oil-Free SPF 30 is part of the Blemish Clearing Collection along with the regular Oil-Free Moisturizer. It can be layered over the regular Oil-Free Moisturizer if your skin is craving more hydration, or it can be worn alone or under makeup.
