Doesn't come off like tubing mascara—returned
I've used L'Oréal double extend tubing mascara for probably the last decade. I've tried other mascaras, but kept going back to it because it is sooo easy to wash off at night, no raccoon eyes or traces left over. However, I only use the mascara end and not the white first coat so I always feel waste...

Ok but not the best
Have used another tubing mascara (rhymes with "five") and loved it, but because I can only buy it online, I decided to try this one for convenience. Looks great but after a few hours, I have mascara specks under my eyes. This never happened with "five".
Game Changer
My only complaint that its not easier to remove than normal mascara. I actually find it harder to remove than my Ilia mascara but it definitely looks like I'm wearing lash extensions with this mascara. Game-changer
Not good at all
I have tried other tubing mascaras before, and this one is at the bottom of the barrel. It doesn't actually tube the way its supposed to, while it may dry down it flakes off throughout the day, and it removes just like any other mascara... very messily. Whenever I removed this mascara with warm water I just got black liquid all over my face. If you want a REAL tubing mascara, use the e.l.f. Lash Xtendr.
Bought on a whim
I was looking for a new mascara and saw this one in store hoping it would be a new favorite. Went home and tried it and was absolutely disgusted with how it looked on the lashes. The tubing effect works great for length but does not seperate the lashes well so they clump together making your lashes look like wet spider legs. (Not the look I prefer). Abviously since its a tubing mascara you cant go back and fix it with a spooly to seperate the lashes. It was easy to remove, so that was a plus.

Let me preface this by saying I've never owned a product from Tarte Cosmetics that i didn't like (usually LOVE, actually)… before this mascara. That's why I was so stunned by this mascara. It went on well enough. Provided decent coverage, length, volume… basically all the things you want a mascara to have when you're finished applying it. But let me tell you, when I say this mascara flakes worse than any I've ever worn before, I'm not kidding in the least. Im dually upset because I had purchased another full size tubing mascara by Tarte before I tried this one. My mistake. BIG mistake because they're not cheap. I have this one in a sample or deluxe sample size. The one I purchased in full size might be in a yellow tube though… so fingers crossed the formulation is different because this one is awful. I don't even want to wear it again to get a photo for this review. So sad!!
