Not worth the money
I am always on the hunt for a replacement for my old holy grail product, the Revelon colourburst crayons from the 2010s. When I saw that some people raced about the Laura Mercier petal soft crayons online, I was hoping it might be a good replacement despite the limited color range. I got the petal soft crayon in the shade Laura. The formula is really messy during application, and gets all over the applicator. It does leave a very watercolor, blurred, matte appearance, which I can't say I've found in any products other than the Maybelline Teddy Tint. After about an hour of wear, the color has faded a great deal, and my lips felt very dry, like the product was sucking the moisture out of my lips as opposed to being a moisturizing as advertised. I had to apply lip balm over it just to be able to stand wearing it.
Nice, but not worth the price
Gives a nice flush of color. Pigment is soft and not very buildable. Easy to apply, and I like how you can adjust the tube up and down instead of having to sharpen it. Doesn't really add moisture to your lips as the formula is fairly matte, but it doesn't dry it out either. Considering the price, I likely won't purchase again.
