I was given this Heel Genius Super Charged Warming Foot Mask from @soapandgloryusa by @bzzagent for my personal opinion. For those of you who don't know, I've been hospitalized for four years, three of which I wasn't even able to reach my toes. My feet had always been perfectly presentable until t...

Use at your own risk!

I was really excited to give this a try. I don't have terrible feet but my heels are rather dry and I've been wanting to find something to make them softer and smoother. The product is easy to apply and has a really nice, light fragrance to it. I applied it as directed. After about 10 minutes I bega...

PAINFUL BURNING - DO NOT BUY!

Submitted 2 years ago

The burning that many other comments describe is real. Neither rinsing with water nor washing with soap (and even Dawn dish soap) makes the pain go away. I'm shocked that a product like this is sold, and I am disappointed in Ulta for selling it.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This mask has specific instruction's for a reason. It burns, but it's not nearly as crazy as people are making it out to be. I apply a very generous amount on my entire foot but I would not recommend everyone do this. As it states, to use a small amount on bottom of the foot. I have severly dry skin and sadly my feet are the worst but this stuff is the ONLY thing that helps. I'm talking sandpaper feet to baby smooth over night. MY HEELS, heels so baby smooth. I'm obsessed. If you dont need deep, deep hydration to your heel area go with the original. This I would only suggest to people witb feet as dry as the dessert! Also WASH YOUR HANDS after you use this. This stuff can be dangerous if not handled properly.

I picked this up thinking that it would be a great product for me since my feet are always cold, especially in the winter. Oh, my friends...how wrong I was. I decided to try it out during an early autumn evening before bed, hoping that it would make my feet warm and soft for the next day. Upon perusing the instructions it said to use a small amount on your feet, and to not worry because the warming effect takes a few minutes to work. So, I didn't over use the product. But I did put it on my whole foot, both top and bottom. Because, to me, it's silly to put two different types of lotion on your feet. Then, I put socks on and washed my hands, as the instructions suggested. As I lay down to sleep the pleasant tingling sensation began. At first it was fine. But it increased until it was painful. I could no longer keep the socks on, and my feet had to be above covers. It was excrutiating and I can only thank my lucky stars that my soap worked to take it off my hands, because if I had touched anything else I would not have made it through the night. Please use EXTREME caution if you want to try this out.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Not for the faint of heart

Attempting this product for the second time.. BOLD, I know. Yes, this burns. It is a very intense warming sensation. If I hadn't read the reviews I would have tried to wash it off too. I toughed it out and after hours of it still "warming", I took the socks off and wiped my feet off with a dry towel. This did help although I thought after so long it would have been less intense. I mistakenly rubbed a heavy amount of product on my entire foot. This was a bad choice and was extremely bothersome. Everyone has their own pain tolerance but this was in no way enjoyable and I could not sleep comfortably with the coming and going of what felt like chemical burns. This is no joke and when using this product I would be very careful. ONLY apply to heels, immediately wash hands, even getting a little on the upper foot, toes or leg is uncomfortable at best. This second attempt is a little better but for the searing pain you go through I do not think the product outcome is worth it. My heels were a little softer the next day but does not last. I think a good moisturizer and exfoliation would do just the same. Would not purchase again and would not recommend, not sure if I will even finish the bottle I have. Be warned..

Beauty isn't always worth the pain

I love soap and glory products, so I bought this without looking at reviews. That was a huge mistake. I applied the product as instructed, generous layer and then put socks on. The "warming sensation" started after about 4 minutes, amd it felt like putting your cold feet into a hot foot bath, except when you do that it only takes a few minutes for your feet to acclimate. The sensation with the product lasted at least 30 minutes before i was finally able to fall asleep without socks on. Now, i have to give it two stars because it did noticably improve the condition of my dry feet, but at what cost? I fell asleep envisioning walking into Ulta to return this item today. If you have limited sensation on your feet already, this is probably a great product…. But it's not for me and Im not really sure who its for, honestly.
