Q&A

Showing 5 out of 14 Questions
Q
Does it have a strong scent? What is the scent if any?
Asked by Am
Official Answer By Beekman1802 - Brand Engage
Milk Shake can be used over or under makeup. As it has hydrating properties it won't work the same as a professional setting spray to limit any movement on your makeup, but rather works with it to keep you hydrated throughout the day over your makeup! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this good for use on the décolletage?
Asked by anonymous
Official Answer By Beekman1802 - Brand Engage
Yes! Milk Shake will provide hydration, soothe redness and even skin tone. Also check out our Milk Shake Body, designed to be used below the neck for lightweight moisture with skin care benefits! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
This product was recommended to me as a safe toner to use for my acne-prone skin. I noticed, however, that ethylhexyl palmitate is listed as one of the first ingredients and is known to be extremely comedogenic. Now I am conflicted - is this product safe to use on HIGHLY acne-prone skin or not?
Asked by avoidingacne12345
Official Answer By Beekman1802 - Brand Engage
Yes, our Milk Shake is designed to be used on acne prone skin. We use a low percentage of ethylhexyl palmitate for both its skin softening properties and its ability to help active ingredients penetrate the skin more deeply. There are squalane and mugwort which sooth redness and reduce inflammation as well as having antioxidants. Milk Shake toner can help to reduce redness and irritation while providing lasting hydration and balancing your skin. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can this be used at night before or after a retinol?
Asked by Ira
Official Answer By Beekman1802 - Brand Engage
Absolutely, Milk Shake is designed to layer with your skincare. You can spritz on before AND after, or just one or the other. None of the ingredients with Milk Shake will cause a negative reaction. Was this answer helpful to you
Q

:sunflower:I really like this product! I live in Texas —it's very hot!!! I am 63 and I really don't have dry skin— and this toner I use it all throughout the day —very refreshing—-and I use it with and w/o make up! It came with my subscription kit—and I'm so glad they sent it because I may...

Does not work as intended, but I'm repurposing it!

I used this for 3+ weeks hoping for a good outcome. It broke me out.. not too bad, but lots of white heads, which means my pores were getting plugged. I also noticed that my skin was getting extremely parched, like my skin wasn't getting moisturized, resulting in rough, dry skin. What I think is ...

Not sure why they marker this it set make up. I use this in the morning and sometimes mid day as a light cleanser with a reusable cotton rouns. It does clean my face of light dirt. Leaves my skin feeling refreshed but still cleaned.

I love this toner! I love this toner so much that I use it multiple times a day. I also spray my body with it. The spray on this is perfect. This is the only product that I have back up on. I will say the travel size bottle does have a harsher spray.

After the first use, i felt like i needed to sptay more on my face. It didnt feel like much. The D'Alba serum soray is much more hydrating and feels like there is more serum as well. The skin really skins with that spray better than Beekman 1802. And it costs less! Makeup just sits better with the alternative.

It's mid?

I was looking for a toner with squalane and hyloronic acid that is Yuka approved to replace my FAB oat toner. I figured I'd give this one a try. I have dry skin that is prone to hyperpigmentation. I haven't been using to this for long enough to comment on longer term effects, but this just isn't hydrating enough for my skin. I also suspect this might be causing some dermititis even though I ran it through skin safe for my allergies. I guess I just can't do sprays since they are hard to not get around my eyes. I wouldn't repurchase this.
