Most Helpful Positive Review I'm in love
I needed to find a new finishing powder because the one I had been using wasn't all that great and was on it's way out. I have large pores thanks to genetics and oily skin, which is worsened around my large pore area, my nose and T zone in general.
So I got this seeing as it had favorable reviews and see how it would work for me and honestly, I was in love with this powder the first day I tried it. It goes on like a dream and is pleasantly smooth and silky. It coupled with my primer minimized my pores very well and after testing it for three days I am completely sold. It's held up to me working near ovens at work and me sweating as I walk out in the blistering sun. No caking or any signs of it failing. It's nice to have a finishing powder that doesn't cake because of my oils.
I don't think I can recommend this enough to try.
Most Helpful Critical Review Something not right
I knew something wasn't right as soon as I swiped my finger over it. It was cakey and when I rubbed my fingers together it wouldn't even out. So I decided to try it before writing a review. It is ghost white, and same thing happened when I tried putting on with the dry sponge and with a brush. The pics I've included are in steps. 1st swipe, and then trying to blend it in several times with the last picture trying to RUB it away entirely. Still could not get it to blend or even get it off. And notice how small the amount is. This huge compact, and the actual powder is ridiculously small. Even withe the 50% off it's not worth the price. Returning it.

I am anti powder. I've been searching for a powder to set my makeup with causing caking in my wrinkles. This powder did just what I needed!
Elsa from Portland
Did okay job blurring pores and smoothing skin when first applying. After an hour or so, my skin became oily and settled into pores. Can also cake up.
Sunshine from San Diego
I probably don't use this like most do. I rarely use foundation because I'm really fair and to be frank, I don't like all that gunk on my face. So I use this to keep my face matte and to blur fine lines and pores; it works great for that! I love how smooth the formula is! I've tried dozens of prestige makeup brand setting powders and this is the best.
For reference, I have slight rosacea and I have combo skin.
For anyone else who hates foundation, using rosewater spray just before use of this really brightens up my complexion ♡
A fine powder in every sense.
Gilly from Portland,OR
A very lightweight powder that sets my makeup without adding caked layers.
I love this powder!! Its the second one I get.
Marta from Olympia, Washington
I put this powder on with a brush after my foundation for a finish make up set.
I would definitely buy again!

I received a sample of "it" concealer in an IPSY bag and LOVED IT SO MUCH that I bought the foundation, blush and pressed setting powder! It truly works on pores. I love this product and recommend it highly to anyone who has larger pores and who would like to have a smoother look.
Great Pressed Powder

I love this. It's light and airy. It won't give a matte finish but it sure makes your skin feel soft

I received this in my Boxycharm box last month and I was excited to try it because I'm a huge fan of the Bye Bye under eye concealer from It Cosmetics. This definitely did not disappoint! I've always used Bare Minerals setting powders, but Ill be switching to this for sure....it not only makes my skin look flawless, it helps my foundation blend with my skin tone better. it's the perfect compliment to my makeup routine!
Not for textured skin
mgh from CA
I bought this item thinking that it would leave my skin lookin smooth or at least like any other setting powder but I was mistaken. It just leaves your skin looking dry and patchy. I've tried different ways of applying it and it was just overall horrible
Best setting powder I've found
MUAcosmo from Wichita
I've purchased over 5 different setting powders hoping for the airbrushed effect and blurred pores. Some have been decent. But when this went on sale for half price I had to have it as I love It Cosmetics. It's the best I've tried. I don't have problems with oily skin or clogged pores. I just got unlucky with my genetics and have larger pores around my nose on my cheeks. I use an urban decay primer and with this setting powder you can't see my pores. Love it!
Nice powder. Annoying Packaging
theclam from Austin
I use this as the final buffing layer. It does a great job setting my makeup. Unfortunately, the packaging is too hard to open. I think I ripped off two or three nails before I remembered to either leave it open or use a little metal spatula to open it.

This powder is nothing revolutionary. It's fine really & not a bad powder by any means. The way I tried it was I replaced my current powder w/this one & it didn't change anything else (Tarte pore filling primer & PoreFessional setting spray) but the IT powder didn't do anything additional in terms of pore reduction, which is what its supposed to specifically address. But it mattified the skin ok without being chalky or giving a dry appearance. The finish was actually pretty nice, but not better. I didn't like how the enclosed sponge applied powder unevenly, like too much in some spots & I had to go in with either a brush or my fingers to blend it away. This isn't better than my UD All Nighter powder but the All Nighter offers the longevity I need in a powder. It can really hang in there when other powders allow that oil breakthrough to occur hours sooner than the All Nighter. So I get the best pore reduction & makeup longevity when the PoreFessional setting spray is added to the equation - which by the way is worth trying bcz it does reduce appearance of pores. I just wanted to try this powder & again, it's okay. It's fine, & definitely deserves the 3 stars I gave. But because it didn't really lessen pores, I couldn't give it more. I couldn't ever get myself to pull the trigger on paying full price for this because I NEVER hear ANYONE talking about it - which is oftentimes meaningful. It was never a heavily talked about or loved product by the masses to begin with but I was always curious about it anyway bcz I really like the brand as a whole. So I grabbed it on Ultas 21 days of beauty at half price but I ended up returning it. I decided that even at $10, I didn't want to keep it bcz I'd rather repurchase the UD powder instead of keeping something I may never use or don't fully like. Although I do still like & use the bye bye redness powder.
Best invisible powder
Lolagail from Sturgeon Bay, WI
The Bye Bye Pores compact powder is better than the loose in my opinion. Disappears on skin (which I like) and doesn't get cakey. I have sun damage and this powder doesn't settle into lines. Best of all it seems to camouflage pores without breaking me out. Love it! I'm a product junkie and love trying new stuff but this is one thing I stick with.
Love the matte finish
BeautyBabe from Colorado
helps keep oily skin from shining and keeps dry skin from becoming dryer. It looks like you used a primer with it's smoothing effects
I would buy this product again!

Great for blurring pores and setting makeup!
Returned it immediately

It made my skin look dry and flakey. NOT for dry or combination skin. Made any dry spot look like it was peeling.
Tracey from Orlando, FL
Setting under eyes and T Zone for me this product works amazingly. I have age "40+" eyes and this powder set my under eyes so brilliantly. Not a crease in sight!!!
tonyandmikesmom from UT
I'm fair and this leaves a white cast. I would avoid if you have a darker complexion. It's sitting in a drawer now. Would not buy again.
Not what I expected
not surprised from somewhere
its ok..... not sure whats all the hype. its nothing that another powder can't do. leaves white powder look on face. I'm glad I purchased it on sale. will NOT buy again. buy something less expensive
Gigi from AZ
I was excited to try this translucent powder when it was on 21 days of beauty. It's not good, probably one of the worst powders I have. It made my face look ashy and blotchy. I will try to use as blotting powder and see if it looks OK that way but as for a setting powders over foundation no way.
Shine Free from Raleigh, NC
I really like this powder, since it's translucent I can use it anytime of year and not have to worry about it matching my skin tone. It also lasts me a really long time. Helps eliminate shine!
Not so much
Tonyandmikesmom from Utah
Bought during the sale. Don't like it with or without makeup. Doesn't blur pores and definitely not a universal color.
it girl for life!

love this setting powder! doesn't look cakey and doesn't add any unwanted color. i recently took a trip to cancun and this setting powder helped keep my makeup in place, even with the high humidity.
