I've avoided multi-use emory boards in the past. The part I use the most used to wear down instantly while the "tough" section ripped apart nail and the "soft" section did, well, nothing. But this one is great! Each section is neither too soft nor too rough, all are effective, and each section is big enough to actually use! Definitely my new favorite nail care accessory.
After waiting in line to make this purchase, I opened the product and they were stuck together (2-pack) and tore each other apart. Un-useable. I would throw them away, but sometimes it's just the point of the matter. No customer service at this store, so not going back there. I will wait in a few months when I return home and go to my store, where you can find help and never wait 30 minutes in line! I still like Ulta, juts not this Sacramento store, nor their faulty products.

I only buy this nail file because of the different textures. 4 all in 1 file makes it convenient so you don't have to have 4 different files to do your nails. Depending on the breakage or just to trim down your nails, all the textures work great and each file lasts a long time. Would highly recommend!
