I noticed a difference on my pores immediately! They look blurred and much less noticeable. I have a patch of pores that I am always self conscious about and this worked wonders! Would definitely recommend to anyone, quality product for a good price.
This primer was horrible. I have oily, acne-prone skin and bought this primer because I thought it would make my makeup look better and I saw people raving about it. It did not do anything for my pores and made my skin look oilier than it is! Not only that but I kept getting huge breakouts after using it, my assumption is that the oil in the product clogged my pores. It was very disappointing because as someone who has been struggling with acne for years, it is a HUGE inconvenience when makeup breaks me out. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Really minimizes the appearance of my pores, and the price point is great.

I absolutely love baby skin.. I have been using it for years. it's perfect for combination and dry skin. It blurs pores, and my makeup spreads on like a dream. smooth skin. Doesn't break up on the face after hours of wear. I have sooo many primers and I always end up back to this one. It's also very affordable.

definitely blured my pores and imperfections, but the greasy feeling stays under that makeup and does not mix very well with the actual makeup its self.

This primer is a moisturizing gel. I apply the thinnest layer I can. Keeps multiple brands and types of foundation locked on. Works alone or with multiple brands of setting sprays too. I have dry, mature skin. I'm glad I tried this brand - it's a real value.

I had been using this before Fenty dropped years ago and since ive decided to switch primer and foundation brands again, I've noticed how more sticky the product was. Its a good amount of stick to hold that foundation coverage but not enough where it'll get all over your hands. Before, the gel was just plain old gell that glides over. Now it had a more thick feel when you spread it out and so far, my skin doesnt get as oily as it has before. I'd definitely recommend!

effective but initially has a slimey feel

The "matte" finish does not last after 2 hours. After a short period of time, the shine comes back. I purchased it just to see if the good reviews were right. They were not. I get much better results with RIMMEL STAY MATTE PRIMER.

I am a guy using only primer with no makeup to light makeup.
This primer blurs my pores and mattes my face (not in a dry way).
I am not a big fan of spending lots of money on these things so this keeps me below budget.
My confidence level goes up before a night out.

Bought this as an absolute makeup newbie and it does the job - blurs pores and smooths skin, lasts a long time, and it extremely affordable. However the price does reflect the quality. It has a noticably greasy siliconey feel and comes out of the tube clumpy at times. Good for beginners on a budget, but there are much better options out there.

I picked up 'Baby Skin' for about $8 at Ulta and used it especially for filling in pores, as I've read that it's good for minimizing them, and can basically do what Benefits Porefessional can do...but at a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately in my case it didn't fill in or minimize the look of pores on my nose (which to be fair are pretty big!), although it did a decent job at covering up the smaller ones on my cheeks, either side of my nose. It did help keep makeup stay on a few hours longer than normal, which is great, but not the reason I purchased this. Keep in mind I used a compact foundation over baby Skin - not liquid as that would probably create an oil slick over something that has a texture like this! It's fragrance free, has a very silicone-y texture and spreads super easily to create a smooth canvas, as anything with this much silicone in it would. I'll probably use this just on the rest of my face before foundation and leave my nose to Porefessional. -> My 'Ulta Beauty Top 7 must-have list' (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Ulta) < - < 1. Hair Loss Treatment: Divine Herbal Hair Oil < 2. Eye Cream: Clinique All about eyes < 3. Lip Gloss: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil < 4. Makeup Remover: Lancome Bi Facil < 5. Pigmentation + Anti-Aging Serum: Divine Herbal Facial Treatment Serum < 6. Eyeliner: Ulta Beauty Gel Eyeliner Pencil < 7. Moisturizer: 'Lush' – Enzymion

Even tho the primer has such a cute blue container, it does not work. Do not recommend for oily skin.

I have pretty oily skin, and this was my go-to for years. It does it's job and is cheap, perfect for people not looking to spend a lot of money on makeup and want something that's easy to find.

I am baffled by all the positive reviews for this primer, it's terrible. It's very greasy and oily, it left my face looking like I poured oil all over it. I couldn't even apply my foundation because my skin was so greasy. I have very dry skin, so I can't imagine how greasy it would be for someone who already has oily skin. And the primer smelled absolutely awful. I would not recommend this at all, it's terrible.

This primer does exactly what you want it to. Glides on smooth and makeup stays in place. I've tried all the very expensive primers and this one, costing a fraction of the price is just as good if not better.

Was hoping this was it!!!

I always loved the Bareminerals primer but it was so expensive, so I stopped using it. Well I bought this on a whim and its literally the same! I've been testing it out for a wedding I'm in at the end of October and my makeup doesn't move all day, and I don't get oily or too matte throughout the day. I really am liking this primer!

I use this on my face and lips. It makes my face feel so dang smooth. Make some that goes over your whole body please! Lol!

I've been looking for a dupe for my Smashbox primer and oh my, my! The texture, the look, the blurring and smoothing effect are all the same. It's a beautiful primer, and it helps my foundation lay smoothly around my nose instead of creasing or breaking apart. AND ITS SO CHEAP! The only con to it is I don't see how it's "hydrating".

I'm on my 6th tube of Maybelline Baby Skin instant pore eraser. This does EXACTLY what it says it will do, minimize pores to almost nothing, within seconds! No other product even comes close to this level of effectiveness. It does nothing else but minimize pores, but it does that perfectly!

This made my pores look super huge, especially on my nose. It's thick to the point that it made my skin feel greasy rather than primed. Just didn't absorb well with my young skin. I'm sure it's wonderful if you have more mature skin, but if you're younger like me, I wouldn't recommend this.

I bought this product a while ago at a different store and when it ran out I turn to Ulta for it and I absolutely love this product. I can see why it's called baby skin because that's absolutely how it makes your skin feel. It's supposed to be a pore reducer but I bought it to use it for my wrinkles and fine lines and it does well on those also. I will continue to use this product as long as it is available!
Kells Bells from North Carolina
It's slippery, never sets and as a result, makeup doesn't set. It's just awful. My make up slips around. It's NOTHING like porefessional. At all.
Definitely not a dupe.
I kept trying this product over and over again, thinking that the reviews are really good. Maybe I was missing something…
But no. I've been wearing makeup since I was 12 and now I'm forty, so I know when a product is no good.
Consider the source when taking reviews into consideration.

Best primer there is. I had recommended absolutely anyone and I constantly rave about it to my friends!
Cc from South Carolina
This type of product just feels so outdated. It is very slippery. I feel like makeup just slides around on top of it. I don't even think this makes my skin look more smooth. I think my makeup wipes off easily when I wear this
