I'm 37, and am starting to see fine lines, and puffiness under my eyes (start wearing sunscreen now young ones!!). I have very oily skin, the kind you can sop up all the time with blotters. However, as I age the skin below my eyes only has become dry, and is also becoming extremely sensitive to products. I was a long time user of Clarins under eye cream, which works fantastic. However, it is very expensive, and eventually it caused redness to my skin, and began to sting (DermaDoctor did the same thing). That left me having to choose between using the product and getting rid of the puffiness, or having to use concealer to cover up the redness. The ROC eye cream has not caused any reaction to the delicate skin under my eyes. I've been using it over a month now. The results are instant. The first time I used it, I could see a noticeable difference in the amount of puffiness under my eyes. I love it! Best bang for your buck! It's not heavy or greasy, but it does absorb very quickly. Only negative is that in my opinion it kinda smells weird/bad. I'm used to it now, but the first week it really bothered me.Most Helpful Critical ReviewDoes not live up to the hypeI bought this after seeing the Rank&Style article on best eye creams. Seemed to good to be true that an effective eye cream could be so cheap. I've been using for 8 weeks morning/night now but I have not seen any results. It helps to moisturize the under eye area and the area seems smoother when I apply my concealer on top of this but the lines, darkness and puffiness remain the same. It leaves my under eyes very greasy, it hasn't done anything in 3 months of use, it's irritating (not in the normal retinol way, however) and it STINKS. The fragrance in this cream is overpowering and totally unnecessary. Why anybody would want to put something fragranced near their eyes in the first place is beyond me, but I used it for awhile anyway because I wanted to give the product the benefit of the doubt.
