Then, I experienced slight tingling but it was nothin extreme- I looked in the mirror to the see results and saw a very red patchy rash all around my mouth and on my hand and wrist where I searched the product. My lips also looked purple and bruised and hurt to touch- felt sore. I immediately removed the product, washed my lips for 10 minutes, and applied Vaseline. But still the rash kept getting darker and climbed up my face to my nose and down to my chin. I just took a Benadryl. I do not recommend this product by any means- especially if you have sensitive skin. I've never had an allergic reaction to any makeup before. The rash is starting to fade now but it sti looks terrible. Just wanted to warn others- don't make the same mistake as me. This is my first time ever trying a lip plumper so I can't compare it to any other brands. The gloss itself has a very nice shine, it wasnt sticky, and a little goes a long way. It started tingling after about 20 seconds. After a couple mins, I had to wash it off because I just couldn't take it. I see many reviews stating not to use due to burns and rashes. You absolutely cannot put this anywhere but your lips. If you get even the tinest smudge outside your lips on your regular skin, it will look really red like some of the photos. It doesnt burn or hurt, it just looks red. So be super careful when you apply it and treat it like a pigmented lipstick - stay inside the lines. Also, applying chapstick or lip balm to your lips before using this helps reduce the sting if its too much for you. Plus it keeps your lips more hydrated, although it sort of lessons the plumping effects. Lastly, do not wear this if you plan on kissing anyone lol! It will transfer. Overall, I am obsessed with this and I hope they never change it or discontinue it.Allergic reaction?? It's also very moisturizing. what I like the most is the plumping actually lasts a few hours for me - the redness and tingling will fade, but my lips look slightly larger for about 3 - 4 hours after applying. as with all lip plumpers, you need to patch test somewhere before applying it to your lips. I'd especially recommend that for this one, as it has a strong effect. I don't know if I'd recommend this to someone with sensitive skin.
