I used this product for the first time 3 days ago and it worked as is should. The instructions were easy to follow but I had also seen a few tutorials on YouTube which simplified the process even more. Make sure you're are doing this process over your sink because it will leak a bit while appyling the foil on your fingers. I started with the application on my left hand (I'm right handed) with the exception of my thumb to simplify the application of the foil on my right hand, then did my right hand and thumbs. I left the foil on for 15 minutes and once I removed the foil the polish just came right off. I only had to use the orange wooden stick on one finger but it was very minor. I did try this process once again that same night because I wanted to re-do my nails because I was eperimenting with "art" and didn't care for the end result but the second time around I used regular foil and a cotton ball and I found that using my own foil and cotton ball was easier to use and apply...it also had a better grip on my finger nails so I didn't have the fear of the foil falling off. Either way I think the product works well and its a good starter kit. Next time I'm going to stick to just purchasing the Erase gel nail polish remover bottle and use my own foil and cotton balls.
Kit included foils with cotton squares attached so when adding the acetone made it a wet mess. The foil was then hard to wrap. It would be better to get acetone, cotton balls and foil.

I soaked my nails for more than 40 minutes and still had to dry pick the polish off and half of my nails with it. Very disappointing for a kit that advertises easy removal in 10-15 minutes.

Just go to the salon. This was a waste of money. I did it twice and the no chip nail polish is still on my nails. Ugh.

This product did not work….I was very disappointed

This was easy to use however it did not work as well as I had hoped. The gel nail polish was still very difficult and hard to remove, I had to use force when scraping and ended up just using the included nail file.

This product does not work!!!

It is definitely a product that I would not buy again. It does not work! Don't waste your money. The pieces of paper that it brings don't stick to your fingers and logically. The product does not do its job

My nail gal wasn't able to get me in for a removal and my gels were a little over 2 weeks old and starting to annoy me. I wandered into Ulta and found this kit. It worked great. I don't know if this helped or not but I have plastic clips I use over my nails to hold the foil and remover in place. It took 10 min for most of my nails and I had to keep it on another couple min for a few, just like at the salon.

-The buffing block is poor quality and does a horrible job of removing the shiny coat -The aluminum foil pieces are great in theory but do not stay on the finger -I had on the cotton soaked aluminum pads on for 30 minutes and still required use of the orange sticks to push off gel on every finger. The acetone only lightly softened the gel polish (unclear if this is due to poor quality or poor contact given the poorly fitting aluminum foil). The end result was partial removal with remnants. Additional soaking for another 30 minutes did not help -frustrating product I do not recommend

This box is so east to use and the polish comes right off. Just soak the pad, not dripping wet. fold the foil over the nail and wait exactly 15 minutes. Take the stick and use the slanted end and push the color off and buff. Wallah!!!

This kit works so I will rate it at 5 stars. However, it takes time and effort to remove the gel. Used it to remove gel from a pedicure. I had to leave the foils on for at least 20-30 minutes because the recommended 10-15 minutes wasn't long enough. Then I had to keep reapplying the remover and using the stick to get the last parts of gel off and then buff the nails down. Took me a little over an hour to remove all of the gel. This is a good alternative if you don't feel like going to nail salon to get gel removed but just be aware, it's not a quick removal process, at least it wasn't for me.

This product worked well for me but you have to do some prep work. I first buffed off that top shiny layer then applied the soaked foil. I did one hand at a time and even applied a warm towel on top of the foil to speed up the process.

This kit is amazing! I definitely recommend using the blue alcohol at the end to get rid of that sticky feeling! I love saving the money that I would normally spend at the salon!!

It's an awesome kit, has everything I need

This was absolutely terrible. It took three applications, all the foils plus more of my own, and an hour and a half to remove my polish. I would never recommend this product to anyone as it is a waste of money.

Followed instructions to the letter but the solution barely softened the gel polish. Tried multiple times to no avail. Waste of money and time. Should have just gone to the salon to have them remove the polish.

I liked not having to go to a salon, but it did take a lot longer. Because of the problems mention above, I had to redo it twice. Maybe it would work better to use pure acetone instead of the solution provided.

I wore these for at least a half and hour and polish would not budge at all. Left is on a little longer and only had mild success. Trying to scrape off the polish probably did excess damage to nails. Probably better using your own 100% acetone cotton balls and foil.

I bought this for a no chip removal and it was just as effective as cotton balls, acetone and foil. It did not remove the polish in 15-20 minutes. I ended up leaving it on for 45 minutes and I still had to scrape it all off and some was left behind, so I had to soak a second time.

Purchased the remover kit and the starter set-remover kit did not take off anything needed to get regular nail polish remover- as for the starter kit all worked well till the top coat - turned orange and white sticky lumps to the pink polish- both are going back ASAP

This product didn't take off the gel nail polish. I had to put it on my nails three times. After the third time, I ended up soak my nails with regular nails polish that had acetone in it. The nail polish remover worked better than the kit.

I attempted to use this horrible product and all it did was ruin my nails!

The instructions say leave the gel on for 10-20 minutes but I leave the foil on anywhere from 30-40 I order for an easier removal!

Worked well, and easy

Wanted to give this a try. Did not give enough detail and it was horribly lumpy and then I found I needed something special to remove it. Should have said on the box that it wasn't included!

I have used the foil and cotton ball but they didn't seem to work as this product did. I would do one hand at a time and leave it for 15 minutes and the nail polish came of easily when I scraped it off as instructed on the directions. I am sold!
