I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal dye to make sure the hair is completely saturated and you get an even coverage, but it's really worth it. It takes about 3-4 washes for it to come out completely. I apply it on bleached hair (about a level 8-10) This stuff also smells amazing and makes my hair feel silky smooth after I use it.
I have also used the purple and that one, for some reason, takes MONTHS to completely come out, so be aware. It might just be it clings to my hair more in some places, but I don't have that issue with the pink or other hair dyes I have used in the past. The purple does fade to a nice silverish color, but I also noticed it left a blue/green SLIGHT tint to my hair after it fully washed out.
I have an attached image of the Light Pink and Purple. Light Pink is after 1 application, and the Purple is one application but with I believe 1 one wash before the photo was taken.
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff to pay this much for such a small bottle. Second, it smells DISGUSTING. This the same kind of scent as "shower fresh" deodorant. I'm pretty sure they were going for "clean" but it smells like the laundry aisle in a grocery store or that cheap shampoo they use at walk-in salons and I hate it. Third, it doesn't work. The bottle says the color builds with repeated washes and it shows a pic of 1 wash vs more, but I saw no color difference and I tried it multiple times in a row. The color out of the bottle is a dark grey, obviously very diluted and not much blue tone, especially compared to other temp greys like Manic Panic Blue Steel (result: neutral grey, fades fast, no staining) or Ion Shark Blue (result: smoky blue grey, stains hair very pale pastel blue). This doesn't stain your hands if you use it without gloves, but that means it isn't very pigmented and it doesn't stick well to wet hair. It might work better on dry hair if you leave it for like an hour or 2, but then it's just another temp dye and it's way too overpriced if that's all it is. The non-pastels probably work better, but you need processed hair for them to stick and you need a lighter starting base for lighter colors (examples: Purple will not make brown hair bright purple, Rose Gold will not make orange hair pink). If you want to dye your hair at home, learn some color theory. :)

If you dye your hair black chances are you understand the "ugh, the black never seems to be black enough" lol. I used this two weeks after coloring my hair & WOW it made my hair a deep rich shiny black. I think it almost made it a darker black than when I colored it with permanent hair dye! Its seriously so so good. Shampoo first then use this ALL over your hair from roots to ends (i left mine on for 15 mins) and then rinse with cool WATER ONLY (dont shampoo it out or you'll remove the color). My hair is seriously so soft & so black it's amazing & I will definitely continue to purchase this in the future! 100/10!

Easy to use and exactly what I wanted.

This adds a fabulous amount of color (far more than any color depositing mask, conditioner, or gloss) while also cleaning very well! My hair is several shades brighter and feels freshly shampooed. Very happy with the results!

This is my favorite color conditioner - I use Rose Gold regularly on my blonde hair & it is sooooo much fun!! Nice, grunge pink that isnt Barbie or clownish - it fades really nice too. I have repurchased this about 5 times now.

Does a great job in adding color to vibrant red *fireball is my color. Great smell & actually cleans the hair.
I apply with a brush for 20 mins. Photo is 2nd day after application.

I used on my hair dry as per recommendations from other reviews and I'm happy with the results. Definitely helped get my balayage back to where it was when I first got it. No more orange streaks! And made my hair shiny and smooth.

I used this to color my hair before my sisters wedding since i wouldnt have time or funds for a salon trip before then! I absolutely recommend!
Love this product from New York
This is an excellent products for when you what a touch up/ just some more color added back to your hair when its fading without having to spend tons of money at the salon. Warning it can stain your walls or tiles but will come out eventually after a few washes.

I know a lot of people use this to color their hair. I use it more as a toner on my already grey/white hair. It takes the brassiness down and tones it to a beautiful grey color which I prefer over white. I will continue to purchase this!

Did not work at all, left my hair patchy. Returned the item and learned my lesson!

I love the way it works on my hair . It keeps the color brilliant , it helps maintain so it won't fade . I recommend for sure .

Easy to use. Keeps hair vibrant between salon visits. My hair is bleached and the color deposits well. Nice smell. Haven't noticed any staining. I don't even use gloves to apply and it washes off my hands easily. I apply tons dry hair and then do things around the house for 20 minutes at least and then follow up with my regular shampoo and conditioner. The only con is once you get low it is hard to get out of the pump. I cut my bottles open when they get to this point.
disappointed from new york
I have bleached platinum ends and got this in silver to try balancing out some of the yellow and brassiness in my hair. The packaging is very misleading and the product hardly has any pigment at all. Zero results. Definitely not worth the price.

Glad I decided to try it while on sale. I have dark hair and went for cooper. Not only did the color not show up on the virgen parts of my have but half the bottle was used on the first application. No it did not stain any of my towels but the color didn't fade off my skin easily. Might give it a second chance when i blech my hair.

this stuff is so good for keeping your color without having to go to the salon. my hair gets oily very fast so i use a clarifying conditioner weekly which strips color really fast so i love that thie can keep my color from fully going away. i use the merlot shade and its absolutely gorgeous

I really like this color clendictioner. It does a great job keeping my hair nice and red. Or, in this case, that pretty maraschino cherry red🍒color.

My hair stylist recommended this product as an alternative to visiting her every four weeks. It does the job and saves me money. I can get 3 applications per bottle. This is my first experience with red and it fades quickly and I reapply after 4-5 washes. My hair was dyed permanently with ruby red, then Keracolor Merlot at 5 weeks, then Keracolor Red at a little over 6 weeks to brighten it up.

Been using this product for a few years. Love it. I use the platinum color to boost my color

Doesn't deposit as much color as I'd hoped. But makes me hair soft and silky. Might try more colors.

You are 100% better off using a Redken violet Blondage mask, or the Pravana purple shampoo rather than this lame gimic. I I have level nine blonde hair and platinum didn't even hold might as a real toner on your hair, not this.

This Product is not bad, as far as the color & conditioner. It worked decent on giving me some color and also worked well as a conditioner. My hair was pretty soft after using it, but sadly, the pump on this is always an issue getting it to go up to utilize the pump. I have seen other reviews that have the same issue, so you would think they would fix this. I purchased my 3rd bottle and this time the pump would just screw off when I tried to get it to go up, so had to return it. I will not purchase this again for this reason.

Great for gently enhancing color on fragile, faded out hair. Usually I use a semipermanent natural redhead color with developer only (no extra bleach). Since the washed out hair is a faded gold color to start, this orange does not look too neon and actually looks quite natural! Might not show up on dark brown or black hair though. For me it's a great refresh between the harsher dye jobs! Makes the hair really soft too.

Just used it, if anything i think it dried my hair out more and removed more color 🥲

I highly recommend this product!
