The formula was much drier than I expected, and came out of the tube looking rather clumpy. Even after removing the clumps from the wand before applying, the mascara continued to clump on my lashes with even just a single layer. I'd hoped that combing through the clumps to remove them would be sufficient to halt the problem, but it wasn't. All day long this mascara left little black flakes below my eyes, and it turned into complete racoon eyes after just five hours. As for being waterproof... definitely not. I live in a low-humidity desert climated, so I had to intentionally test the waterproof aspect. It failed with minimal tears, and with a light misting of water, and nearly came off completely with a single splash of cool water to the face. I gave this mascara three tries, altering the rest of my makeup application each day (such as applying before powdering my face as opposed to after), and it failed every single time.
