I've heard of Morphie before. I always thought it was a really expensive high end brand. I went into Ulta with a budget and was going to get brushes that were on sale. The ones I found were ones I've used before and were Ulta brand and they're good brushes. I saw the morphie brush and was blown away by how soft it was and how inexpensive it was. I put my other brushes back as I was looking for one particular one but wasn't finding what I wanted so I was going to get something similar to what I was looking for until I found exactly what I was looking for in the morphie brush!
This is an average goat hair brush - picks up product and lays it down, but a bit prickly and scratchy. It deposits powder pretty quickly, so even though there is color on the brush, there isn't anything left for blending out. For reference, I used it with the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette, so I know it isn't a problem with the eyeshadow. I have 2 G series brushes from Morphe that are softer and better for blending. I'd rather put my $6 toward a NYX brush or EcoTools brush, or even toward investing in a higher quality goat hair brush from one of the Japanese fude companies. If this doesn't soften up and perform better after the first wash, I'm returning it. Same with the M443 I purchased. Hopefully Ulta will get the G series. They're better brushes and only cost $1-$2 more.

I bought this brush and about 20 other Morphe brushes in 2016. By 2018 I had gotten rid of most of them. What remained were a few blending eye brushes and detail brushes which I still use to this day, but I never bought another Morphe brush after that. The M441 sat untouched in my collection for years because my first impression was that it wasn't very soft or dense. Then one day a couple years ago I picked it up in a hurry and really liked how it felt and blended my upper crease shades! The brush had either softened up over time or I was having a bad day when I first tested it. Needless to say, since 2020 it has become a regular in my rotation and I actually prefer that old $6 brush over my previous all-time favorite fluffy tapered blending brush. I've been wanting to buy a second one for some time since I use it so often, but was worried quality had gone down. I almost went the FUDE route because I didn't want to take any chances. I don't like having useless brushes hanging around and am willing to pay more for quality. But I figured why not. It's so cheap ( granted, not as cheap as it used to be) there's really nothing to lose. I was curious to see how a new one would stack up against my original and boy, how happy am I to report that i had nothing to be concerned about because this 2022 M441 is just as dense and even softer than my first one! It might even border on too soft compared to my original, which has just the right amount of softeness to feel good on the eyes but also enough firmness or stiffness to distribute eyeshadow across my lids quickly and evenly. It feels veeerry soft on my eyes, especially for lower grade goat hair, but it still blends as beautifully and quickly as my old one. The shape and size of the brush head is also the same. I think quality has actually improved, which is great to see since price has gone up. I've already washed it and it held up perfectly. I never ever wash my natural hair brushes without using a brush guard to reshape them, so I experience no issues with it losing its shape or fraying out like crazy. That does happen with goat hair brushes, especially lower grade ones. As long as a brush guard is used while it'sstill damp, this brush should keep its shape and quality for years. An occasional shredded bristle is normal. If I ever feel like a goat hair brush is feeling scratchy, I just use a dot of conditioner after washing and that seems to help. I almost never have to do that, though. Even with cheap brushes. Love my new M441!!

The shape is great but it feels a bit rough and it keeps losing it's bristles even though I havent washed it and Ive only been using it for a little over a month.

It's literally painful to use. Terrible quality and not worth buying.

Quality has changed so much from when I first bought this years ago. The new one is flimsy and doesn't do anything. This was my favorite brush and I'm so upset.

like others have said, it's scratchy. & just wasn't my fav for crease blending. it's actually kind of large, imo, for my eyelids, to blend out just the crease. I have other brushes that do a better job, so I don't reach for this as much. but I know others who rave about this on YT videos & such. so guess it depends on the person.

Bristles are really soft but because they're natural fibers they still provide a nice gradual blend of pigments and pick up product very well. I use this with eyeshadows and highlighter. Sometimes even for a precise and light dusting of powder over concealer. Very versatile staple brush. Use a brush guard after gently cleansing dry upside down and it should hold up well and last a long time.

I'm kinda new to make up but I realize that the tools you use matter. My makeup never came out like I wanted but using this brush helps me blend my makeup effortlessly. Looking to purchase other brushes from Morphe

I'm really surprised and disappointed at how scratchy this brush is considered all the hype and recommendation by a lot of beauty gurus/good internet reviews. I bought this brush with 2 other different type brushes and they are all scratchy and stings my eyelids. Not only that the bristles fray and fall out like crazy!

this brush was something i didn't know i needed until i got it. i always thought blending was so annoying because it was so hard to get the look where i wanted it to be. this brush cut down my makeup routine from 45 to like 15 minutes. If you're thinking about it BUY IT. It's white so obviously it will get dirty once you put it to any color but cleaning your brushes goes a long way as well. You really can't beat this price

I watched Evettexo and she said she uses the M441 so I decided to give it a try. The bristles are so soft. It blends so good.! I will definitely keep buying this blending brush.!

This brush is scratchy on my eyelids. It blends well but my eyelids r sensitive so I can't handle this brush. If you feel it initially it doesn't hurt but as you blend your shadows it's just prickly and no fun. I recommend other brushes, I have lots of Morphe brushes but this one is a miss.

I washed it once and was super gentle with it but it still got poofy and wild.

Hairs fall out while I'm using it and poke me in the eye all the time. Once making my eye water so bad it messed up my hour face unfortunately

Overall, the brush does the job but not the most comfortable experience on my eyelids.

This is perfect for the crease and just applying a wash of color.

I have two of these brushes and upon first use I LOVED them but after washing them, the bristles turned rough and frizzy and now not only do they not blend as well they make my eyelids feel raw when I use them. I washed them the same way I do with all my other brushes that have never had a problem.

BeatsbyDeb uses this brush in many of her YouTube tutorials. This baby gets into the crease seamlessly & packs the color to prove it!!! Please grab you one or two of these. I purchased it today and have since cleaned it & the bristles are still in tact and SOFT!
