I have tried express tanners, gradual tanners, mousses, lotions, foams, you get the idea. I just didn't like the process of using a mitt, waiting for them to dry, splotchy dry patches, the smell, etc. The problem was I do love the look of having color to my skin in the spring and summer. Enter this game changer. This is like no product I have ever used. It is very thin consistency, almost liquidy and you apply it after you shower in place of or before your regular body lotion. I find it to be so moisturizing I just use it in place of my moisturizer. It is so easy to apply, sinks right into the skin so you don't need to wait to apply clothes, and leaves no weird smell AT ALL. I find it gives the most natural tan color I have seen and develops FAST. I only use it a few times a week as it doesn't fade quickly on me either. I do not use it on my face because I use retinol and lactic acids and they would just take it right off so I can't speak to the face but for the body it is the best I have found. The color is subtle and natural, but not too light. There is no color-guide which I love. The smell is less offensive than others (I haven't found a single self tanner that doesn't produce even a little smell). The consistency is beautiful as well, most self-tanning lotions are extremely thick and take a while to dry, this formula is nice and thin. HOWEVER, I do not know that I will be able to continue using, as sadly it seems it though this clogs my pores more than other formulas (which I am surprised by). The tan fades beautifully and evenly, therefore, I thought it'd be fine to let the tan fade on its own without scrubbing it off after a week, however it seems that If I do not exfoliate by day 7, it starts to settle into pores and giving me breakouts on my back and chest.Reviewed by 239 customersNot For Me3Sherry from WAAs other reviewers have said, this "lotion" is very thin and runny. What I love about this product personally: 1. Its runny which is great because it can spread easily and covers alot of ground. 2. Minimal "self-tan" scent. 3. Dries quick once all is applied. 4. It unfortunately was, however. I had streaks and spots of darker tan where I applied it incorrectly - and I think that it's due to the texture of this self-tanner, which is thinner than expected. I do really like the color it gave, though, not orange and pretty natural looking. Upon using it, the lotion is pretty good and thick, wasn't runny at all, so it didn't streak and it rubbed in really well. I used my hands and washed just as it stated to. I waited 1-2 hours as it said on directions but didn't notice any change. The next morning I woke up though to such a nice subtle tint on my skin. I continued to use it and my skin was such a pretty natural looking color. I recommend this to use for a quick color. It lasted a couple days, and it's a quick fix for a nice glow. The more you use daily, it gives a nice natural look. The only issue I had was the insides of my hands turning color, but it wasn't too bad. It wouldn't stop be from using it. Do not use this on the face as they make drops for that. I used this for 2 weeks before I hit a good tan.
