Seeing all my dead skin roll off was amazing; and learning that some of those peels that ball up like that do that on even a mirror was crazy! I love this spray!!! I've done my face for a few days now; and can see a major improvement. My makeup looks better; I'm using less to cover since my skin underneath isn't as dry, red, or dull. I was shown this by an Ulta employee and she did the hand exfoliating test. I'm not new to exfoliation so this wasn't enough to convince me but the good reviews and the fact that she said it removed a dark spot on her arm, combined with the fact that it is a natural formula I decided to go for it. I've had it for a while now and I have seen NO change at all. Not only that but the exfoliation seems to be only working on a small area on my cheeks. If I use this on any other area such as my forehead and nose nothing happens. I've had stellar results with the Jason apricot scrub which is natural and hasn't been harsh to my skin at all not to mention it's the 5th of the price of this one. Sometimes I think the thing that comes out after using this is actually not dead skin but pieces of lemon. I don't know if that's true however I can say with confidence that this product has not worked for me not even a little bit. Lastly, I just used it today again and I'm not sure what happened but the pieces of dead skin got stuck to my facial fuzz which by the way has NEVER happened to me with any product given my facial fuzz is basically non existent and not visible. I still can't get the pieces off and used a cleanser and a towel, it's like glue. Which leads me back to my belief that it's not really dead skin cells that come off. Needless to say, I will not be buying nor recommending this very expensive product again. I'll just go back to Jason. So i used the spray wased my face then tried it again and there was still some of the skin rolling off but not as much so im pretty sure some of it is skin and probably a kind of wax mixed in to make it more pronounced. You have to be really careful not to overdo it on exfoliating, cleansing your face is generally enough. Sure, it smells odd when it activates with your dead skin cells as they ball up and fall off your face but WHO CARES!! The result is luscious glowing skin you just can't get with a grit based abrasive exfoliator. I've preached this product to so many people. And I am not a product preacher. Couple things you must know- 1. wash your face and let it dry completely with nothing on it. And I mean dry. Don't do this in the shower. Your face can't dry in the shower 2. Shake it. Shade your eyes and get your forehead and temples first. Avoids overspray 3. If you're not getting little hunks of dead skin everywhere when you gently run your fingers in circles all over, you're doing it wrong. 4. You'll feel when there's more to slough off as you rinse. Luke warm or cool water easily washes away the product and dead skin. If certain areas don't feel buttery silky smooth as you rinse, hit those spots again. For me, once a week I have to do my forehead and chin a second time. There's been occasions when I need to hit my whole face like three times- for example after camping for a few days. Or when I forgot to pack it and went to the beach for a week. Anyway, I've been using it for over a year. And finally at 5:30am when I don't need to be up this early and just added it to my Ulta bag again I'm finally writing a review.
