I have tried many makeup removers. This one is by far the best and does not require many go-overs or a lot of rubbing as some products do. Takes off all eye products easily, even if I'm using heavy eye products. I can remove eyelash glue and glitter from my skin easily with this product. I do not know if this is an "approved" use, but I have also used it to remove face makeup (foundation, blush)--and it works great! It smells good, too. Really glad I tried it. I feel like I've tried them all, and this is the best. NOTE: I have not tried MAC's Pro makeup remover. It stores well, too; I have to lay it on its side for storage, and it does not leak.
This product does as is advertised. It removes tricky eye makeup such as waterproof mascara and eyeliner. However, this product irritated my skin and burned my eyes. This was quite painful to use and a lot of rubbing was involved to get most of the mascara off. It didn't take it off completely either. Once my face was makeup free and washed with my normal face wash my skin was so dry and tight, it felt like it was going to crack. I had to apply gobs of moisturizer to get it back to feeling normal. I don't like how this dries out your skin or how much it burns under the eyes.

Have been able to locate this product with Ulta even though it has been sold out on the Mac website

I feel this product works very very well to remove eye makeup. I use an eye primer, eyeshadow, and mascara every day.

I am thrilled to see MAC at Ulta, so it pained me to return this. It's extremely expensive for what you get, which is a shame. Glossier's Milky Oil makeup remover is the same size, much easier to open the bottle, same type of product, for significantly less money. I also have La Roche-Posay Micellar Cleansing Water for Sensitive Skin, which comes in a huge bottle for significantly less money as well. MAC used to have very reasonable prices. I remember mascara that came in a ziplock pouch and was like $9 or $12 max. Now a travel size of their mascara costs more than a full size used to cost. I wish they still had those extremely high performance products at those better prices.

I've purchased before at MAC store, but nice to see MAC products at ultra beauty now.

I have always used this product, I love it because it is gentle and it takes off everything fast and with no problem. It removes waterproof products, and it does not hurt my eyes at all.

It works pretty well and can remove most waterproof makeup as well, but the lid has such horrible design and is not user friendly at all. I followed the instructions and it opened easily for the first few weeks. But now I can not get it to open no matter what I try. I feel my money went to waste with the bottle still being 90% full.

If you hold this on the eye with light pressure before starting to rub, it works like magic! Don't sleep on this. Takes off my waterproof makeup like a dream.

I have extremely sensitive skin. This product, and the "gently off" wipes, are the only products I've ever reacted to from Mac. Now I have scaly patches under my eyes and am trying not to claw my skin off from the itching. So, if you have sensitive skin, do yourself a favor and AVOID.

It gets eye crayons off that other cleaners don't

I say 2 for the Win because it not only removes Eye-makeup really well. It removes waterproof mascara, waterproof eyeliner's (like NYX,KVD&Stila) that are hard to come off, as well as your regular every day eyeliners and mascaras, without leaving a trace. Also, works really well at removing hard-core lip liners and hard-core liquid lipsticks that leave a stain on your lips. Even theatrical makeup without making the skin burn or giving an allergic reaction. This takes it all off and does not leave a trace behind. Although some may say the lid makes it difficult to open, I don't find it to be the case. Maybe there's different factors. For myself I just make sure my hands are dry, then I place the bottle on table that I have leverage on and then I push down lightly and then just turn it's really easy to do. I can see why MAC would want to protect the consumer by having a good closing the lid. No one would want to spill something like that because it would totally leave some kind of oil stain on clothes, bedding or what not. Ps: this doesn't break you out either. This is why this product is far superior than other removers

With some drops on the cotton it easy removes all the make-up. The only reason I did not give it 5 starts is because of the lid which is extremely secure = difficult to open.

Great service at the store. Great product. But I gotta be honest, I have literally hurt my neck by weirdly twisting my arm to try to push and turn to get the bottle opened nightly. Good enough product that I bought a 2nd bottle. But my next bottle opened the same way (obviously- same product) and then part of the stopper inside at the opening came off. So now it is even harder to get open. Packaging needs to be changed. Someone's gonna get hurt. And although I love the product I am searching for an alternative ONLY because of the bottle. Not the only one who feels this way. MAC discontinued my lipstick, eyeshadow and fragrance (thankfully was brought back). I think it is time for a positive change with packaging.

I was so hoping to see a big difference in this product compared to the Neutrogenia oil-free eye makeup remover that costs a 1/3 of the price, however I didn't notice any difference. I am obsessed with Mac's Extreme Dimensions Waterproof mascara and thought I would give this a try since I was given an Ulta gift card for Christmas. It was gentle enough to take off the mascara and did what it claimed to do. However because it's a smaller bottle and 3 times the price of my Neutrogena, I will go back to that product and save some money.

I use this makeup remover at night to remove my eye and lip color. It works great with waterproof mascara, glitter eyeshadow and pigments, it wipes them through like Magic. It also removes my stay all day lip color really fast. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate my eyes or mouth at all. You don't even have to rinse the stuff off. If your having a lazy night and you have it at your bedside and you put it on some cotton rounds and wipe off your make up you're good to go. No need for additional products to wash off

The cap has instructions on how to open it. A little unusual, I thought, but I went ahead and followed the instructions. I tried to open it. I could not. I gave it to my significant other; he could not open it. I paid good money for this product and cannot even open it.

It takes off Mac eyeliner smoothly

I bought this since my FAVORITE MAC pro eye make-up remover was discontinued. I wanted to love it, but it is extremely oily. Please bring back the Mac Pro remover! It was the best product!

Best make up remover for waterproof eye makeup I've ever used!!!

I was using Olay make up remover for a while, and I always was left feeling like i had a ton of oil left over on/around my eyes. After reading the reviews on this product with MAC, I decided to try. I will never go back. It wipes everything off with ease, and leaves NO greasy, oily residue or feeling. I will buy this over and over!

I expected this remover to work better given the price. I wear a creme eyeliner and mascara and I use soap to wash my face after using the remover. There is always leftover eye lines on my lids and under my eyes and I have to use another product to get the rest of the makeup off.

I think this stuff is great. It's the only remover that takes off all my makeup including waterproof. It also removes glue from my false eyelashes. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews because I love it. The plain micellar water and other removers don't remove all my makeup. This does.
Unhappy longtime Mac customer from Louisiana
As a customer who has spent thousands, and I mean thousands of dollars on Mac products in the last couple years I am completely unsatisfied with my purchase. This makeup remover does not help to take off eye makeup at all. It makes my eyes very greasy and I end up having to use my face wash to do two jobs, 1.to remove all eye makeup and 2. To remove the grease from this so called " makeup remover". I wanted to return this bottle for an exchange for the wipes but I didn't have a receipt and they would not return and give store credit even after Aeeing that hardly any makeup remover was used. I recommend the wipes to anyone who is traveling.

I am so excited! Finally Ulta beauty carries Mac Cosmetics!😍 I don't know why this eye makeup remover doesn't have more ⭐️ I am a fan of the Lancôme makeup remover, but this is one of my old time favorites. Is so gentle on my eyes and it takes everything off💖

Just decent. Nothing special. You can find makeup removers just as good for even leas than half the price.
