Cruelty free products are important to me and Tarte has all cruelty free products. This primer is so smooth and covers everything nicely. I can't say that it makes my makeup last 12 hours but it does help with the longevity of it overall. Tarte has become one of my favorite brands and I have loved everything I have tried from them. This was actually recommended to me since I mentioned I had oily skin. I originally had the Too Faced Hangover primer but the sales woman said that's not a good one for oily skin. I'm glad I took her advice and went with this one! Really great primer and you don't need a lot so it should last me a while.Most Helpful Critical ReviewSo disappointed!!I was so excited when I ordered this because I thought it would work great with the Amazonian Clay foundation, which I have been using. I hadn't been wearing a primer and I was still getting shine through on my nose after only wearing the foundation for about 4 hours. I thought this primer would help control my oil. Sadly, it did not. It made my foundation drag on my face in my cheek and forehead areas and my foundation would not even stay on my nose. It just bubbled off. About 2 hours after I applied it, I was so oily. I have tried many primers and had hoped this would work.
