If you use a liquid foundation, bb cream, tinted moisturizer, etc. You should set it with a powder like the HD Setting powder before moving on to contour. Remember that contour is not a bronzer. Bronze after contouring. Bronzing adds a healthy color to your face. Contour shapes the face. You should also alternate liquids and powders. So if you use liquid foundation, set with HD powder. Contour with a cream contour (or if you prefer darker liquid foundations. Then you top off your contoured face with powder bronzer, blush, and highlighter. Then hold it with a setting spray. If you use a powder foundation, set with spray, use powder contour, then a cream bronzer, blush, and highlighter. Leave the HD Setting powder for the end. Hope this was helpful.
✨Pros -Creamy texture makes it easy to blend -Nice pigmentation -Comes with a nice size mirror -Easy to travel with -Great for dry skin but can still be worn if you are combo/oily skin (MUST set with powder) ✨Cons (things that can be improved) -Color range (need to create more palettes to accommodate more skin tones) not everyone will be able to wear this product -Highlight shade is chalky -Sheer to medium coverage depending on how u apply (this is a CON for me because I like medium to full coverage) -Best to blend out with a brush. When applied/blended out with my BB it sheered out too much and I found myself having to reapply more product Overall I would say this product AS IS is just OK. Not something I would run out and get but if I came across it I would pick it up. If more shades are created to accommodate various skin tones then this could potentially be a drug store favorite. Never been one to use much makeup, but this really helps to accentuate without having to wear much. As a bigginer this has helped me a lot!

too warm toned for contour especially on pale skin, doesn't blend very well and the colors are all kinda too similar.

I loved how the cream contour pallet had everything in one pallet made it convenient and easy for me. I bought this pallet when I first started learning make up and I used it to the end. Made it easy for my mother also she was 43 at the time.

I like this better than the original, I think it's just as effective but it spreads a lot easier. Also I like not having to stick my fingers in a pot.

Theres nothing that i really like about this. 1. Not good for dark tones - Darkest shade was noticably lighter than me 2. Hard to blend 3. Lightest shade applied very chalky and uneven. Wouldn't personally recommend.

This product is amazing for mature skin. Powder products can get stuck in wrinkles that will draw more attention to them. With this cream product, it goes on smooth and gives you that natural glow!

i havent tried my putty brush with this product which is probably why i am not as satisfyed, but it still gets the job done. i do wish the colors were more cool toned, but either way they still blend like a dream and are beautiful.

It's very creamy and easy to blend and lightweight. Its good for tan medium complections but I wish they had a darker contour for darkskin people. It's overall good for the price though!

I use it for cosplay makeup which needs a pretty good contour. My makeup-addicted friends love it and I find it real useful. So thank you ELF! It's affordable and it's great!

Unfortunately, the three brown colors all look very similar on my skin, like eerily similar. The formula is great but I genuinely don't think there's a big enough difference between the shades to be noticeable on the face

I don't recommend this because when I bought it it had like water droplets in it and then I exchanged it and the same thing happened again, so if I were you I wouldn't waste my money one it.

It's 4 shades allows for you to mix colors to get something you like. You can build up the color. It's a nice consistency and blends well especially with and oily face. It's size is great for when you travel, it doesn't take up too much space.

I picked up this pallet early on into my intro to contour/highlight. I had issues getting the definition I wanted from powder products ( turns out I was the issue lol) cue the right tools and this palette and my base routine became complete. Easily blendable, great coverage and shades. It'll always have a place in my makeup kit!
