I have never considered myself to have "good skin" until a stranger asked me what I used to get such clear skin. I was so excited when she asked me, and I told her I had been using this product. It was the only thing I had changed it my skincare regimen. The product is NOT overly drying if you use a SMALL amount of it. A little bit goes a long way, since it lathers up. It makes my combination / sensitive skin feel so soft, and sometimes I will just skip moisturizer if I know I am going to work out or teach a fitness class, because it doesn't deplete me of moisture. So I highly, highly recommend this product. It works quite well, and does literally exactly what it says it will do if you follow the directions. Last, I don't really think it's fair to compare it to the old one - it's a new product, so I wish people would please review this new product, which is a great one.Most Helpful Critical ReviewSo DisappointedI have used Bare Minerals skin care line for many years and was so happy with the appearance and health of my skin. I had struggled when I was younger with oily skin and break outs. I used the purifying cleanser and I loved the results! When that line was discontinued I was directed to the new line and told it was the same. It is not the same. My face is so oily that I have to blot it occasionally throughout the day with a tissue. I am getting little white head pimples all over my face. I feel like a teenager but I'm in my 40s! This was NOT what I experienced with the old skincare line. I really hope the old skincare products are brought back.
