My other half says it has a slight clean smell. I love it and it's made a huge difference in my dry skin (beardruff). My skin is as soft and smooth as ever. I noticed a difference after a couple of days of use. I have a short beard and I typically use 3 pumps every morning right after showering. I may be wasting a bit, but I know my skin is covered with that amount. It's a bit oily for the first minute or so, but it soaks into my skin very quickly. It has also helped with coarser hairs in my beard which I no longer notice or see.Most Helpful Critical ReviewStill includes fragrance ingredients :/I was excited to find a beard oil that didn't include fragrance or essential oils, but then was disappointed to realize this does indeed have rosemary oil. Fragrant compounds cause damage below the surface, even if you don't seem to have sensitive skin on the outside. However this oil is great. It doesn't make my skin oily or cause breakouts, it gives my beard a healthy feel and I get complements from women all the time on the sheen, texture and even smell.
