I have some pretty nice foundation brushes, but I prefer this one to all others at the moment. The typical brushes I use generally have a larger head on them, but this one really allows you to get into every crevice and around every curve of the face. This brush leaves me with an airbrushed finish that none of my other brushes quite duplicate -- it's just better enough to be noticeable. I do use it with serum foundation, but more often I use it with other liquid foundations (thicker versions and normal consistency). I'm impressed with how it performs with all the foundations I use. The bristles are incredibly soft, and they are very densely packed, which is probably why it leaves you with such a flawless look. It does take more work to get it completely clean, but it's totally worth the effort. I'm sure someday I'll go back to my old foundation brushes and show them some love, but I don't think it will be long before I return to this brush. The "head" unattached from the handle on my first use. I tried it anyway hoping it would just fit back in place but the brush kept falling off. I ended up returning. You could also use it to apply sunscreen, primer, or an illuminator if you wanted. It doesn't leave frustrating streaks and buffs nicely. My only real issue with this brush (why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that due to how short and densely-packed the bristles are (and because they are at an angle), it can be difficult to thoroughly clean this brush. Whether using brush shampoo and a silicone cleansing mat or Cinema Secrets with a clean towel (which can usually get any product out of any brush), the short, tightly packed and off-set bristles of this brush are significantly harder to clean completely and correctly. So if you don't want to deal with a brush that's a labor of love to clean, this probably is not the best option for you.The best!5Krys from OCI absolutely love this brush!
