I have several of the original IT brushes, and a few of the velvet luxe brushes. This brush is FANTASTIC for applying a finishing powder. I use it to apply my MAC finishing powder or BareMinerals mineral veil. It is a very loose, fluffy, brush that allows you to apply a very, very, thing and even layer of powder to your face. It is NOT good for applying powder foundation, because the brush doesn't pick up much product. It's too big for applying blush, but does for for a light layer of bronzer if you're going for an all-over bronzed look. I would highly recommend this brush to someone who has a set of good foundation brushes, but wants something to apply a light layer of finishing powder. I would not recommend this brush to someone who wants a general-purpose powder brush or a foundation brush. If you already own and love some IT brushes, this is the perfect addition to your collectionMost Helpful Critical ReviewOk, too big/denseIronically this brush is too large, I got it with the thought that it would make applying finishing/setting powder faster. However, it does not reach smaller crevices well (around the nose etc) and it is difficult to control powder placement because it literally covers over 1/3 of my face. I have tried some of their skincare and cosmetics before and really liked them. They have worked well for me but I had never tried one of their brushes before until now and I didn't know what I was missing out on, lol. Let me tell you that I fell in love with this nice and big brush head for the All Over Powder Brush. I never expected it to be so big but you know that I really like it because that way it is easier to sweep my powder all over my face. I like that you can grab the tip of the brush, the bristles while applying your makeup and it will return back to it's shape. I also really love the texture of the bristles themselves. They are nice and soft, yet keep a nice shape to apply the powder to our face. On top of that, when I applied my makeup, not only did it apply smoothly, it didn't allow the powder to crumble which I really liked. Overall, I am loving this All Over Powder Brush from the Airbrush Essential Collections.
