My scalp and hair were in need of some serious TLC after I tried using an "all-natural" brand of shampoo and conditioner that ended up being an epic fail. My head was constantly itchy and my hair was very dry and unhappy. Very aggravating! After I used this product twice my scalp and hair were healthier and happier than they had been in years. I use this by itself without washing my hair first (I use shampoo in my hair only about twice a month because my hair is very curly, 3b/3c, and this product does a great job of clarifying it.) I just rinse my hair and apply this, leave it in while I shower and then rinse it out. I'm left with shiny, smooth, clean, soft hair that smells amazingly fresh. In fact, I loved this product so much that I have thrown out most of my old hair products and solely use PM products now! Great product. Great brand. I'm in love!Most Helpful Critical ReviewWEIRD NEW SMELL!I've been using this conditioner for close to a year now. but just recently I think they may have changed the formula because this last bottle I got smelled really gross. Everytime I showered with it I thought not conditioning my hiar would be better than that smell. What's even weirder is that the shampoo smells fine! It smells like tea tree and peppermint goodness. It's literally just the Tea Tree Special Conditioner that stinks! So, for now, I would suggest getting another scent from this line until they change the formula again to fix that god awful smell. I got the lavender one! And if you already bought it like i did and want to exchange it, the nice Ulta employees will hook you up! I went to the one in Manchester MO and all of their employees were so nice and helpful! And I didn't even have a receipt! They looked it up with my rewards! It is extremely hard to open the cap, especially if your hands are wet or soft from being in the shower.
