It was embarrassing, extremely itchy and annoying. I'd have to wash my hair everyday to control the flakes and itch. After using this it calmed my itchiness immensely. and I have zero flakes. This will last me three maybe four days of no dandruff symptoms. (Mind you, I have horrible dandruff.) It's soothing, smells great and has lasted me longer than I expected. For my routine. I shampoo normally. Section my hair and apply the treatment to my scalp. Set for a few mins and rinse. It can be so relaxing after having an intense itch. An the tingle lasts once my hair has fully dried. I recommend to anyone for any type of drandruff.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNice relief but has plastic micro beadsI didn't see this mentioned anywhere but there are small plastic micro beads in this product. If that is something you care about, like I do, I would shy away. They are awful for the environment and I'm really disappointed that this is full of them. The product works pretty well and relieved a lot of the irritation my dry scalp gives me, but the micro beads will make me never purchase again until they are removed. My head was so sore, oily, just everything that goes with eczema. The shampoo and cream rinse with the tea tree has soothed and restored my scalp and hair so much. I'm beginning to see a little regrowth but honestly the win for me is I no longer have that nasty burning feel on my head. Right now its the only shampoo and rinse being used and my hair is so soft and silky. You have no idea how grateful I am to Paul Mitchell for coming up with this. Unfortunately, the directions did not read to apply to damp hair. I specifically asked the stylist about that when I purchased it and her advice was to apply to dry hair since the directions didn't mention applying to wet hair. My shampoo and conditioner can keep that at bay for a week or two with regular washes, but eventually that stops working. When it does, I work some of this into my scalp and out my regular conditioner on my ends and I'm good to go for another week or two.
