I received the Estee Lauder Futurist SkinTint Serum with Botanical Oil Infusion Broad Spectrum SPF20 as a free product in exchange for my honest review.
To be honest I had no idea what a skin tint was. I thought at first it was a moisturizing cream with color added. Much to my surprise this is a completely different kind of product.
When asked what color I wanted to try I chose 1N1 Ivory Nude. I thought I would try and pick the color closest to my skin color.
The product comes in a beautiful glass rectangular bottle with a dropper on the top and of course the beautiful packaging you receive with all Estee Lauder products.
I shook the bottle prior to usage.
The consistency resembles an opaque thinner foundation.
The purpose of this product is to apply it previous to going out in the sun, because it has the SPF20 rather than applying the traditional foundation.
I applied it all over my face and much to my surprise it made my face a VERY LIGHT COLOR!
It is much unlike any product I have previously used. In spite of me applying my foundation over it, it still turned my face lighter! In addition, it helped with wrinkles!
For those of you looking for a lighter skin tone, THIS IS THE PRODUCT FOR YOU in this color.
Had I have known how this product worked and how potent it is, I would have asked for a darker color; however, I decided to use it in a different way. I applied this product under my eyes and THE DARKNESS UNDER MY EYES WENT AWAY! This is FANTASTIC for using as a concealer under your eyes! I applied concealer over it and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Perhaps this product was not made for this purpose, but I absolutely LOVE IT! I no longer have to apply a ton of concealer when trying to cover up the darkness under my eyes.
For those of you looking for a tanned effect, buy the darker colors, because this product is not going to cake up on your face like some other foundation might.
The product contains Octinoxate 6.7%, Octisalate 4.5%, Zinc Oxide 6.8%
I like this but I don't love it. I typically go for a lighter coverage base so this sounded like something that I would really enjoy because it claims to have light coverage with a natural finish and feel lightweight on the skin. I completely agree that it feels lightweight because it does have a very serum-like consistency and it absolutely provides light coverage - I really don't feel like it's possible to build this up very much without it looking heavy and overdone - - but it definitely has a very luminous finish rather than a natural finish.
I have dry skin and even I feel like this looks a little too glowy for my taste. This definitely begs for powder, not only to tone down the shine a bit but also to set the tint into place because it won't completely set on its own. Because it's very radiant, it can definitely tend to emphasize texture and therefore I don't think that people with extremely oily skin as well as people who feel very self-conscious about any texture / fine lines that they may have will necessarily enjoy this very much. For this to look and where it's best, I typically apply a smoothing or blurring primer, apply the tint with a brush in order to maximize coverage without building it up too much, and set it into place with a loose powder to help mattify and blur its appearance. I can definitely make it look nice but I feel like it's a little bit of a finicky product and for the price tag I feel like it shouldn't require quite that much effort. I'm not going to recommend against trying this because I do think it's possible to achieve a really pretty end result but that being said, I think that there are other options that require less work.

Color is horrible (same shade as UltraWear, but not) and patchy. Truly horrible - not blendable at all, and not even worth using as a serum. Avoid at all costs unless you're 25 and don't need makeup and like to look shiny.

I have dry sensitive skin and this goes on like a dream. It has just enough coverage and doesnt feel like a foundation at all.

I am 54 years old and have always struggled with redness, so I've always avoided skin tints because I need coverage. I decided to try this and was so thrilled when it worked. I used a concealer under eyes and in red t-zone areas, then used the skin tint. I blended it with a beauty blender. It was perfect! Loved how light it was. I set it with a loose lowder and it held up all day. This is great when you want something light feeling that covers well. I will be using this a lot, especially in summer. Will definitely purchase again.

This skin tint has a nice texture and feels smooth, the shade range is nice. I found that tbis settled into every line, every pore, every spot of texture on my face. Instead of making me look smooth or even, it highlighted texture and pores.

I like it, a little goes along way!
IMO you can layer it, I like the look of it better when I use my finger tips with this product.

I am a fan of Double Wear and Hydra Rescue, so i thought I'd try this one also. First of all, I am extremely disappointed that while the shade names are the same as their other lines, the shades themselves are not. I am 1N2 in the other two lines, so I ordered that shade. It's MUCH lighter and more yellow. The formula seems nice and thin, but it doesn't lay well on my face. It looks patchy no matter what I do and it clings to every line and bit of texture. Big disappointment.

This is my first make up purchase from EL and I don't think it was worth it. I ordered the Desert Beige shade as recommended by their shade match tool. As others have said, it is very white!! Makes me look like a ghost. The pros: perfect coverage, not too heavy or light. Has a pleasant sunscreen smell and isn't greasy. Cons: way too white and almost tacky feeling on the skin.

I received this product from Estee lauder and influenster to try and have to say I'm hooked. It was super easy to put on and it was a nice small tint that helped give my skin the perfect little glow. The color I got was a bit dark foamy skin but blended in easily and actually made a beautiful sun kissed color.

I tried the Este Furtuist foundation for the first time and absolutely LOVE it. 50% of my line/wrinkles disappeared in one application. I am 78 years old. I am so glad my Chanel foundation was discontinued so I had to fine a new foundation. Este is it for me and my old face. I chose it because my mother used Este till she was 95 years old. She was beautiful. Thanks Este.

Ok - I honestly could not get this to work. I tried it with my fingers, a brush, a damp sponge, primer, no primer. it immediatley pilled. I wanted to love it so much!

It's been 24 years since I've used an Estée Lauder foundation and I love this serum. I'm at that age where my skin is changing and I'm no longer interested in covering everything , but just enhancing what I have. My skin feels so hydrated and good.

I'm a 42 year old woman that is not seeing a difference and the way my skin is maturing and my old foundation, even tho I still love that product, it just was not working with my skin anymore. I tried this and fell in love. It doesn't settle in any lines or crevasse. It leaves a beautiful finish while feeling very light weight! I WILL definitely be retiring my old one and start my obsession with this product!!

I tried this makeup off and on for over 2 weeks. My eyes would begin to burn and water after about 45 minutes from when I put my makeup on. I work for an ophthalmologist, so when my eyes got worse to the point that I had a hard time keeping them open, I had the doctor take a look. My eyes had SPK; my corneas were severely irritated and needed medication to calm this. I finally realized that it was the new foundation, which more likely is the sunscreen, Octinoxate. After switching back to my Nars foundation without sunscreen, my eyes got better. If you are sensitive to sunscreen, do not use. I tried it with my concealer only around my eyes, but the foundation still traveled to my eyes by a few hours later.

I loved the way this felt on my skin and it did look nice but only for about 3-4 hours and then it quickly began to get patchy as it wore away. Even with using foundation primer and setting spray. it's a no from me because I need a longer lasting foundation.

I received this product from Influenster to test out and review. I tried it and immediately fell in love with it. It leaves your skin with a nice natural and dewy look. It really helps provide an even skin tone. It's lightweight and a bit buildable. It has been a big game changer for those days where you just want to get up and go and not have to take a bunch of time to do your makeup. Has become a part of my routine. To apply it I use a foundation brush and it goes on very easily. I also love that it has spf in it!

I received this product from influenster to test out and I absolutely loved it. It is very lightweight and leaves a nice natural finish while still providing some light coverage. I really enjoy using it because it provides a nice natural makeup look and allows me to get ready quickly. This is my new go to favorite skin tint foundation!

I have tried applying this in every way possible..I used a stippling brush, beauty blender, fingers, flat foundation brush, with the futurist primer, with the e.l.f grip primer, with Laura mercie setting powder, with setting spray...it looks awful on the skin. It sits on the surface and if you have blemishes you'll need to put concealer on the skin to even conceal discoloration. Throughout the day it gets patchier and I'm embarrassed when people look closely. The concealer is pretty good but it still needs to be set with powder below the eyes. I'm just going to stick with double wear

Formula wise, I really liked this foundation. It made my skin feel nice when I took it off at the end of the day. Other foundations have made my skin feel dry after wearing them all day, but this one didn't do that. My skin is on the oily side and, after a few hours, I ended up looking way more oily than usual. I tried to use translucent powder to take away some of the shine, but it made my face look cakey. Great foundation for pictures, not good for in-person/everyday looks. It also stung a bit the first time I used it.

Ive been looking for a skincare/tint product for a while and have tried several, and while they all have some nice qualities individually, none of them have been "the one." Same goes for this. It's blotchy and hard to spread evenly, it pilled with any moisturizer that I've tried, it streaks with application, and it doesn't last. At night when I use my cleansing pads, there is no sign of makeup at all. Where did it go? For the price, I'd pass. The places where it does stay put have a nice glow, but it isnt worth the time to work with it.

I had been looking and looking for a product like this! I wanted something light (I don't wear a lot of makeup) that wasn't too matte or too shiny. After trying LOTS of other brands with no luck, I came across this online. I thought why not, just give it a try. I'm so glad I did!! I love everything about this!

I love the benefits form this product but if you have oily skin this might not be the one for you. Makes my face very shiny.

I found my favorite "foundation" FOREVER. I have combination skin. I have NEVER recieved so many compliments on my skin since wearing this. It makes your skin look like skin, everything is even and the finish is beautiful. You won't regret it!

Feels soft and silky smooth on the skin, not cakey at all. It has great coverage. I highly recommend giving it a try!
