Turns out it was user error and not the actual formulation of the conditioner, so I owe PM an apology. No matter what shampoo and conditioner combo I used for the past six months or so I was left with horrible dry, frizzy, hard to manage hair. During that time I was following the advice of hair stylists and influencers to shampoo twice, which I have never done before. This was right when all my hair woes began. I just never put two and two together. I went back to my previous routine using the Awapuhi Hydrasoft line of ONE good shampoo followed with this conditioner, clip up my hair, let it sit while I finish the shower, and rinse well. The frizz I have battled with is no more. Followed up with invisiblewear boomerang and clean beauty styling cream and my hair is bouncy, shiny, sooooo soft, and my ends sealed. Still wish there was a Hydrasoft leave-in but hopefully in the future. I finally found the conditioner that smells great, nourishes and hydrates my hair, as well as leaving it feeling very soft and manageable, and best of all, little to no tangles!! Ive dealt with my damaged hair for over 2 years now and after the first use, my hair is softer and less tangles to where i could actually brush my hair without pulling a ton of hair out. My hairdresser tries all of the newest products however most make my hair feel heavy and greasy. I have shoulder length, in between hair (thick/thin) a lot of it and it is colored. The only thing I could ask of this product is a little stronger scent. If that would interfere with the efficiency of the product then it is fine the way it is. I prefer scented products, but would still purchase this because i got great results using it. I have used it multiple times now and one thing of note would be to stay away from the crown completely. I used it on the very front of my crown where i tend to have breakage, but my crown looked pretty flat and oily doing that. I then switched to just using it mid shaft to end with great results. I have allowed my hair to air dry and also used it with hot tools and am pleased with the way it left my ends soft and smooth. I used a Kitsch bar shampoo in conjunction with this conditioner, air dried and used my caruso hairsetting rollers and i got shine and softness without compromising volume, and its a winner! The conditioner is a really nice consistency being thick and buttery, and I really like the ingredients, but I need a little more hydration than this alone. I have long, fine, very coarse, frizzy hair, and while the conditioner does an excellent job of not weighing my hair down, I need more of something to tame the frizz and give a bit more hydration. I use the AWG styling treatment oil, which is a holy grail, but I wish instead of the glossing treatment there was a corresponding leave-in conditioner.
