I rarely smell the inserts in magazines, but I like Daisy & while it's not my favorite, & this was on the back of the Daisy insert. So I figured if it was similar maybe it'd be nice. I rubbed it on my arm as best I could, waited 20 mins & still loved it. Lots of perfumes smell great on paper, or in the bottles, but your skin's pH can def alter the scent; I've been there...after spending $100. If you like florals, but the heavy 1s make you gag, this is so nice. I like my perfumes to be lighter, earthly & have a small amount of floral in there too. No fruity stuff here. I've waisted a lot of $ over the years buying $100 for 1.5 or 3.4oz bottles that I like for a while & then I'm over it & it sits on a shelf. Most perfumes do not keep forever, you've got 5yrs before the scent will change, & not for the better. So, now I buy rollerballs or travel sizes. I actually use them up & if I fall in love w/ a scent I can then decide if I want a large bottle. I mean, unless it's your signature fragrance, when is the last time you finished a large bottle of perfume. It's like liquid gold sitting there going bad lol. Marc Jacobs has had some wonderful scents over the years. Prob my most purchased brand along w/ YSL & Yom Ford. If you're younger, this a mature, but not old scent. If you're in your 30s like me or older, this is def a "signature" scent contender.Most Helpful Critical ReviewLOVE the fragrance but only lasts about an hour or twoI went into Ulta and smelled this fragrance and instantly fell in love. It's fresh, fruity, and floral without being overbearing. I'm 25 and don't want to smell childish but I love smelling classy and sweet. It's the kind of scent that puts you in a good mood. I bought it right away. An hour later after I got home, I smelled my wrists (I sampled two fragrances) and I could smell the other fragrance but not this one.... at all. I thought maybe I went nose blind. I've been using the bottle consistently now for about two months and I can say for an Eau de Parfum I didn't get my money's worth. I feel like if this doesn't last at least half of the day so it should be half of the price. I have to reapply a few times a day and my bottle is already almost half way gone. Mind you I'm not perfume crazy - I don't like having an overbearing scent so I apply this lightly....I won't be purchasing again even though the scent is beautiful. Quick summary: Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 2/10 Bottle: 7/10 (it's kinda cute) Would I buy this again?
