IGK colour kit gives you everything you will need with the exception of hair separating clips, must say that will never keep me from purchasing this kit again. I usually have my son help when I am taking on the challenge of "hair lightening". This kit by IGK makes it so easy for myself to do any style of colouring. I love that the lightening and colour deposition is all in one easy colour step. will post a picture of end result after the 45 minutes has completed. It says it's great for virgins...no. If you've never bleached your hair before, you may not know what the bleach looks like or that they include a small tester size that is IN THE TRAY with the color and activator and a regular size that is behind the after care products! Shouldn't that be reversed?! So my color is very, very light and has faded after 2 days. I'm too scared to try again for fear of frying my hair. No mention of test bleach on instruction or instruction video. Iykyk ! You have to have some sort of idea with what to do with bleach. You need foils and have to section I only did money peices and used 16 foils. Smaller sections the better. I also used two boxes on 2 seprate days to get the full lift and fix the few spots missed even though I sectioned bangs 16 times! It was a really quicm processes over all. I purchased a separate highlighting cap and used the cool ice blonde color to highlight my hair. It is easy to use and was the perfect amount for highlights. I left it on for about 35 minutes and could have waited the full 45 as instructed for brighter color. I think this product worked perfectly as it lifted my previously highlighted and box toned dark hair to a nice cool blonde. I will purchase again!!! Worth the money since normal highlight kits don't tone your hair and leave my hair feeling crispy.
