I had a little trouble at first getting used to picking them up with the tweezers but quickly caught on. The gems are all the same size and there's a good amount of gems in a single pack. (Unless you're gonna go crazy and need varying sizes and/or a ton of gems.) The gems stayed put when I applied them on clean skin, but I did not really put them through a heavy test such as heavy sweating and extended amount of time. You can put the crystals anywhere on your face.
