I've used a lot of lip balms as a necessity throughout my life and e.l.f. has knocked it out of the park again with this one. Right out of the tube, I absolutely love the Honeydew scent; it's so different from anything else and it's a perfect copy of a honeydew melon. It does have a very light green tone, on plain skin it's almost imperceptible, but sort of adds an otherworldly glow. The color sheen pops over lipstick. Oh my gosh is this hydrating, it feels amazing on my lips. And it stays on all day. No stickiness or tacky feeling, just smooth hydration. The tube itself fits perfectly in a pocket or purse for on the go touch ups. The new applicator makes it easy to expertly apply just the right amount of product. I was very excited to have a lip balm with hyaluronic acid in it. My lips genuinely feel nourished throughout the day in the sun and wind, no worry about chapped or peeling skin! I've been to several stores hunting for the other scents and they've all been sold out! My current tube will last me a while though, so I can hang tight until then.Most Helpful Critical ReviewGreat smelling lip balm!I've been an ELF fan for years. I have a little bit of everything. I will admit I never followed when a new product launched, I usually see new things since they are sold in so many places and grab it because it's so affordable. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I received this product for free in exchange for a review. First, it smells really really good. Just like honeydew. It's not overly sweet or candy smelling. It's a good lib balm that goes on very smooth. I do like that it's in a squeeze tube instead of a stick style. This way I can see how much I'm using and can apply as much as I want. I would probably not purchase this in the future, it's not really as long lasting for me as some of their other lip products that I use and it didn't make my lips feel as soft. AMAZING. not everyone wants a slimy, shiny, gooey, runny lip gloss advertized as a balm. this is a thick, non sticky, balmy formula. its not going to slide off your lips. the color is super super subtle but leaves a beautiful hue. THEY SMELL AMAZING!! it is rare we get flavors like honeydew, grape, and peach in a high quality balm. im hoping so hard they expand this line and add more. so far the grape is my favorite. it smells exactly like grape soda. i plan on stocking up because i cant think of a day in the future i DONT want grape soda scented lips.
