One thing is the tinsel was a little bent so we flat ironed it on low heat and that made it super flat.Most Helpful Critical ReviewEhhWas really excited when I saw these Barbie collab temporary colors, I picked up the shades Signature Pink and Malibu Blue. For reference, I have straight dark brown hair, and these were said to work for any hair color type and seeminly any hair color. The packaging is cute and compact and it comes with a coloring wand on one end and a brush on the other. The instructions state to apply the color, reapplying as desired, wait 60 seconds, and then comb through. One swipe gave me a cute tint of either color,and two to three gave me a full impact color like the bottle. However, with following the instructions and combing through after 60 seconds, most of the color crumbled out of my hair like chalk leaving behind an uneven color. Going over the same section with more color made everything become clumpy. And as I worked with the color, it began to stain my hands and face. Everything does wash out, for the most part, but the blue is a little harder to remove. I've tried other temporary hair colors before and they've worked great, but this one could use some improvement. As for the hair accessories that came with these colors, no complaints. They're easier to use and add a fun touch to any hair style. I attempted to do a 3 mor like 2&1/2 inch wide section of my hair. It didnt go well gor many reasons. First the applicator sucks monkey balls. Second, I ran out of product. Third, i have dark extremely long hair so that was a con for sure. Works best on blomde hair I presume. I have super faded green hair in the section i used this product. Will be returning them tomorrow. Wherever you start is the spot that gets most of the product so you end up with thick patches of color and then light streaks. The applicator wand easily gets stuck and then pulls your hair. The brush is even worse. It's hard plastic with little give and does nothing but frays your hair. I bought many items from this collection and love everything else but this is a hard pass. The hair tinsel clip is super cute but one of the hearts popped off even before I got it out of the box.
