I did notice that water was not on the ingredients list, which is amazing! The shampoo left my hair, feeling neutral (which is a great thing), not overly stripped, not under washed. It suds up nicely and left my hair feeling clean. The conditioner was amazing! I love it even more than the Biolage ultra source hydration conditioner! It went on my strands nicely, and when I rinsed it out, I could feel an immediate 100% improvement in the hydration of my strands, and it felt like each strand was coated and strengthened. I think it might be the Chia seed compound that they put in there. I wasn't sure which of the other two I should use first so I went ahead and used the leave in conditioner first on my ends, then I used the glossing detangler and then my usual heat protectant on the mid to ends and I let my hair air dry. I felt like it did dry a lot faster than usual. And then when I finally went to use my straightening brush, my hair felt amazing. It had a healthy shine (not greasy looking just just reflective shiny) and the strands felt smooth, soft, clean and hydrated. Shampoo and conditioner, middling. The detangler is practical and perhaps something I might buy in the full size. The glossing leave-in conditioner - was not impressed. Little goes a long way - a little too thick and gooey for my preferences. Def had to wash my hands immediately after working into my damp hair. I felt as if it slowed down my blow dry time, but the shine wasn't all that great. In all honesty, I get a better, glossier shine from using a few drops of Moroccan Oil after my blow out. I don't feel like the price is worth the hype. I think any decent shampoo and conditioner from any mass market store would be as good or better than these. I will definitely be finishing up the product, but for the most part, I won't be purchasing this brand again. My straightener has combs to keep hair aligned and I could hardly move it through my hair! I love the detangler but the shampoo and conditioner don't do it for my fine hair. My hair has not felt this silky smooth in a very long time. It smells so clean too. I'm sensitive to smells but this has a very clean botanical/bamboo smell. I would highly recommend if you have dry hair thats needs some TLC.
