I was given Hot Tools Pro Artist Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have natural long and straight hair that's never been dyed before. My hair is healthy and doesn't get many split ends. I normally don't use products in my hair besides the regular shampoo and conditioner, but I always use heat protectant products before curling or straightening my hair. I strongly feel that heat protection is the only way to keep my hair healthy; therefore, it was really easy to incorporate the cream before styling. When I first opened the Hot Tools Pro Artist Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream, I thought it smelled a lot like a coconutty baby powder, which I don't mind at all. My hair was really frizzy before I curled it because I had it in a hair bun the previous day, but I applied it as directed before curling my hair. I loved how the styling cream smoothed out my hair to prep for curling. I had no issues incorporating the styling cream before curling my hair, even though I was running behind schedule for my event. It was a quick process that I would never skip, to ensure that my hair remains healthy like it is already. After curling, I noticed how sleek, glossy, and well-formed my curls were. My hair is so long and straight, it never holds curls well, but I was able to curl my hair quickly and get the results I wanted. My hair was soft, smooth, and shiny. I really liked that my hair didn't feel heavy or greasy at all. Even after washing my curls at the end of the night, my hair did not feel dry from the heat exposure of the curling iron.
I received this product from the stellar panel in exchange for a review. I have very thin hair, hardly any volume, no definition just very flat. I usually use products that provide volume or fullness. I wash my hair every 3-4 days depending on how hard my workout is for the week. I blow dry it on wash day and wrap it at night in a silk scarf. In the morning I use dry shampoo to refresh it and then depending on the results I'll either wear it up or curl it. I washed my hair with the same brand shampoo/conditioner then sprayed the same brand detangling spray, added some of this styling cream, let my hair air dry 70% and then did a blow out. The results were great, smooth soft hair, I was very happy. Until the next day. That night i rolled my hair up per usual to sleep & the following morning I unrolled and the blow out was so flat. My curls didn't hold & I had very little volume. My hair was oily and thin. I was so disappointed. I enjoyed the citrus scent and the thick formula but unfortunately it provided very little for my 2nd day hair. I wasn't able to get through even 2 days without washing, it was so oily. I liked that this product had a heat protectant technology but I wouldn't actually purchase this again.

I bought this when it first came out because I love Hot Tools styling tools but this protectant is not it. I have thin, soft, split dye hair and I can feel it in my hair still once it is styled. I really want my hair to feel like there's nothing in it but I can definitely feel this in my hair. The worst part of this product is the awful plastic smell that this product has. I'm sure it protects from heat but other than that I was expecting better.

I love this stuff so much. I have extremely damaged hair from a bleach job that happened over 3 years ago some of my curls are becoming straight, but this product is making my curls come back to life. I have to use a curling iron on some parts of my hair because they're so straight and the stuff locks my curls and all night long and let me add. It's very humid where I live too! Bonus it smells very nice!!

I have 53 y/o Virginia salt and pepper long layer hair that doesn't keep a curl unless you hairspray it and then if I sweat it pulls right out. I do not like mousse or gel because it makes my hair feel stiff and greasy, and doesn't really help keep the curl. I have used this product twice on my dry hair, then curl and I keep curls all day and wake up in the morning with most the curls still in! It's not heavy, greasy or sticky. Great Product!

I don't blow dry my hair so I have been searching for heat protection that I can use on already dry hair with my flat iron. This was the best I have ever used. Left my hair like silk, not stiff. Didn't make it greasy even after day 2. Highly recommend.

I'm not usually a fan of styling creams, but I love how lightweight this one is! Plus it smells great!

I think this product is a good heat protectant, I even tested it with thermal paper & it did alright. However, I think that it is hard to make sure that you are coating your hair with it evenly. Since it is a cream product & I apply it on dry hair, it is hard to feel like every hair is coated properly to make sure it's protected. If you add too much of the product, it will feel pretty heavy. It also has a smell when you use a straightener or curling iron that smells like burning plastic & you will see some steam from it burning (my hot tools are set around 280-310 degrees). Overall its decent but I still wish I could find a good mist or spray that evenly coats my hair without making my hair greasy or filling the room with a chemical cloud.

I have super straight hair and after using a curler or my dyson for curls, my hair will get flat quick. I love how HT styling cream smells good, protects my hair, and actually works to hold my curls. I would definitely get this again and also recommend to others.

I straighten my hair every time I wash it, 3-4 times/week. This is the 1st cream-based heat protectant I've used, and for me ... it works great. I comb it through my damp hair, dry, and use the flat iron, no additional heat protectants necessary, it seems. Hair seems smoother, less frizzy, and easier to straighten. It doesn't have the drying alcohols that I've always used in the past, which is a huge plus. My only issue is that it's somewhat expensive for 3.4 oz., but I'm going to suck it up and continue using and buying it, especially if it continues to work nicely in humid weather as well. Looking forward to trying other Hot Tool hair products.

I've been using this cream in my hair for a few weeks, mostly prior to drying my long hair with a hair dryer brush 3-4 times a week (at the highest setting, because I'm a busy woman). I like it! It's got a light scent and doesn't weigh my hair down, something that I have to think about as I live in a very dry climate and I've got a ton of hair. I think my favorite result of using the cream was the fact that I actually didn't realize that I had gone more than 8 weeks without a trim. Usually I start to notice split ends and make an appt, but I'd been using the cream and didn't get that visual cue that it was time to book a cut. So I'll continue to use the cream! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me the bonding cream to test, I'm a fan.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was able to try out the Hot Tools Pro Artist Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream. My hair tends to be on the frizzier side so styling creams typically work well for me. This was a nice product to comb through my hair before blow drying and curling. I even added it to dry hair before heat styling with decent results. My hair was smooth and it seemed to help hold the curl, which is a plus. I also love that this helps protect against heat damage - so important!

Wow! My mouth literally dropped after seeing my hair straightened with the help of this product and my flat iron! I recently had some hair extensions sewed into my hair with a partial leave out on top. I am natural and did not want my hairstylist to blowout, so she flat ironed it. Unfortunately, my hair only stayed straight for a day and then began to curl back up. I desperately searched for products that would smooth my hair and make it easier to blend with my extensions. I am so grateful to have received it as a gift from Stellar Product Testing Panel, to give my honest review on it. I was amazed at how this product have had made my hair smooth, soft and straight! I love its light smell. I definitely recommend this product to my family and friends.

I was lucky enough to receive this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This styling cream is definitely worth trying. It has heat bonding technology, which helped to protect my hair from the heat of my flat iron and curling iron. This product does actually seem to help reduce the damage and breakage. I have super curly hair, but this styling cream should help whether you have curly, straight, or wavy hair. It is easy to apply, and will leave your hair smelling great. Whether you want to straighten, curl, or add volume and texture to your hair, this styling cream has you covered. Highly recommend!

I usually have issues with adding creams into my hair because I'm afraid of them making my hair heavy and oily, but this cream is amazing! My hair is kind of between straight and wavy and is really fine. The only heat I use on my hair is a blow dryer, but I've recently noticed that the heat has started to worsen the split ends I already have. I put this cream in after I towel dried my hair, but before brushing it and I really noticed a difference in the texture of my hair as I brushed it. I haven't noticed a huge difference in the way my hair looks after blow drying but I've also only used the product a couple of times so I'm very excited to see some changes. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

First of all, I'm always a fan of multi-use products so I loved that the Hot Tools Pro Artist™ Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream can be used on wet hair as a heat protectant for blow drying and on dry hair as well before curling or straightening. I have fine, thin hair so tend to stick to sprays, but was pleasantly surprised that this cream did not weigh down my hair. I used it both in wet and dry hair before using my flat iron and my hair was soft and it helped to tame some frizziness. I do have to say that I was not a huge fan of the scent of this product - it reminded me of the smell of being in a hair salon. Thankfully though it had a light scent and was not overwhelming at all! I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.

I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I can not say enough good things about the recovery styling cream and for my heavy long wavy hair, it worked exceptionally well. It was extremely easy to incorporate this cream into my routine once a week when I wash my hair. I use a few products, root volume, oil serum and then used this at the ends of my hair. It is a sticky cream but doesn't leave your hair sticky which is good, I was a little worried about that at first but on wet hair it is perfect and not heavy on my hair. My hair looked and felt great after using this cream, I have a very robust hair dryer and I think this cream even helped with making it so my didn't look extra dry. My favorite result after using this cream, was the way my hair smelled after. Even my husband kept sniffing my head.

I have thinner, long, straight hair and I like the addition this styling cream added to my hair routine. I apply it after towel drying my hair to the ends. It's a thicker consistency and took me a few attempts to figure out the right amount. I felt a little like Goldilocks and the Three Bears when I started using the product. At first, I used too much, and it weighed my hair down and felt like it left it waxy. Then, I didn't use enough, and I didn't notice much of a difference. Once I figured out the right amount, it was great! My hair had volume that lasted longer than before when I wasn't using any product. I'm looking forward to continuing to use it to see if I can stretch the time between my haircuts. I love the way my hair smells after use - it's a soft subtle coconut scent. My kids even commented on how good my hair smells! Overall, if you use heat on your hair to style it, once you find the right amount to use for your hair type this is a great product to add to your routine. I received the Hot Tools Pro Artist Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I absolutely love this product, and I am thankful to have received it as a gift from Stellar Product Testing Panel, to give my honest review on it. That being said, this is one of my favorite hair care products that I have been using almost daily. It helps make my hair more manageable and soft, and more cohesive when I am styling it. It's not greasy and is a nice texture, and does not make your hair greasy or weighed down which is important. I love that it helps protect my hair from heat while styling. I love the light scent as well, it stays in my hair and smells so good.

This product has helped me a lot when styling my hair. I am able to last the whole day with my hair not sticking out and getting fuzzy. I love that it is a 2 in 1 and protects my hair while styling. This products has helped me so much when trying to style my hair quickly or on my way. I definitely recommend this product to my family and friends. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Recovery Styling Cream works wonders! After one week of adding this product to my hair routine, my hair is softer, shinier and overall healthier. I highly recommed this product! I received the Hot Tools Pro Artist™ Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

During my testing period, I had the opportunity to try the Hot Tools Pro ArtistTM Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream. I have always had chemically treated hair, whether it was regular semi-permanent or demi-permanent color or bleached highlights. It's no secret that styling your hair with any type of heat can be extremely damaging to your hair. In this product, there are ingredients that provide heat protection as well as hydrating properties that assist in repairing damaged or stressed hair. It is 3.4 ounces in size, and it has a pleasant smell. Once my hair is towel dried, I apply it and rub it through the mid-lengths before brushing it and styling it. I had no difficulty brushing or styling my hair. My thin hair does feel a bit heavy after using this product, however it is not as heavy as some other popular brands. My hair felt like it had some residue. There was a noticeable reduction in frizz in my hair. I have also tried this bonding cream on my daughter. Despite naturally curly hair, it can become frizzy. Following the same procedure, I applied the cream to her towel-dried hair and worked it in with my fingers. Using a round brush, I styled her hair. For her, this cream made a significant difference. Using the cream in her hair made blow-drying much easier and I felt that the drying time was substantially lso tried this bonding cream on my daughter. She has naturally curly hair that is prone to frizz. I did the same and put the cream into her towel-dried hair and worked it in. I then styled her hair with a round brush. This cream made a huge difference for her. I felt that the drying time was quicker and her hair was easy to blow dry with the cream in it. Her hair felt soft, looked sleek, and I knew it protected her hair. The Stellar Review Panel provided me with Hot Tools Pro ArtistTM Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream to review the product. Thanks!

I'll start off by saying that I don't normally use a styling cream, but with the Heat Bonding Styler Recovery Styling Cream that I received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, it's now part of my after shower routine. The cream is a good consistency, easy to work into my hair with my fingers after brushing. I tried it both with wet and damp hair, and it was great in both instances. The real test came a bit later with the heat. I don't normally blow dry my hair, but after it air dries, I will often straighten or curl it. With other products I have used before straightening, I can see a slight smoking coming from the hair as the heat is applied. With this styling cream, that didn't happen and my hair felt so great right after finishing straightening. The one downside I saw is how it affected my hair a few days later. I usually wash it every 3 days, as my hair doesn't get oily easily normally. After using this product and the normal 3 days passed, I did notice a little more grease in my hair. This absolutely makes sense with any product, so I am not docking the rating for it, but is worth a mention. This is perfect for someone who washes closer to 2 days apart. Whenever I use this product going forward, I will just remember that fact and plan accordingly. So overall I am really happy with the product and will continue to use it in my routine whenever I am going to be using heat on it!

I love this cream! It worked perfectly keeping my hair nice and it smells amazing. I'm glad I was able to use this product thanks to the Stellar testing panel. Super easy to use and when I'm done doing my hair in the mornings, it smells good and maintains a nice healthy look even after using a blow dryer and curling.
