I was very skeptical about this blow dryer for a number of reasons-mainly the price. I have gone through many a blow dryer with my tight 4b/a coils. I blow out my hair once every 4 to 6 weeks to wear extensions or to trim my ends. It's the only source of heat my hair sees. I finally bought this (using my points) and I can honestly say- this is the best hairdryer I've ever owned. It heats well, has great airflow options, and the locking cool shot button is really nice. I have read a couple of comments on here about the blow dryer only blowing cool air-more than likely the cool air botton was pressed. Anyways, the real stars of the show are the attachments- mainly the comb and brush. The wide tooth comb attachment glides through your hair with minimum snag and is great for when you need to stretch your hair for braid or twist styles. The brush attachment is for when you want an voluminous blowout. It made my hair almost bone straight which made trimming my ends a breeze. Also, the packaging and the overall design of this dryer screams luxury. You can tell a lot of thought went into this dryer. If you have the coin and/or the rewards points just get it- definitely worth it.
I absolutely loved the base of this hair dryer. It is very quiet and lightweight. I have long 3a-3b hair and my hair would slip right off the diffuser. It was very frustrating. If the prongs were a little bit longer it would be incredible. I think this would be really great for people with shorter hair thats 3c and and up.

I bought this blow dryer having only one expectation, to straighten out my hair. I have thick long hair (that reaches my hip or lower than that) and I have abundant hair too. Normally I take 2 hours to blow dry it and after purchasing this blow dryer the time went exceedingly down to 1 hour. The dryer is very potent to the point that every item I have on my shelf and the brushes are slammed down to the ground. (I'm not exaggerating though) I am very speechless with the amount of time it's taking me to dry my hair and I strongly recommend it. Don't be afraid to purchase this dryer if you have loose curly thick hair. I love it.

I have been looking for a new blow dryer for my curly, frizzy hair for a nice blowout. I have a nice dryer that is almost too hot, and am pretty sure its not good for my hair. I have tried many top blow dryers and love how the latest dryers blow stronger with less heat. They just dont loosen my curls enough to straighten my hair leaving me with frizz. I have loose curls, gray hair and its very course, and frizzy. I noticed this Pattern brand was geared towards ethnic hair and realized if it worked on their type of hair it should work on mine! Its amazing!!!! Power is strong, heat is pretty strong. I let it heat on my hands and counted To 6 before it was too hot. My dryer now is at a 3… my daughter asked me of straightened my hair so thats a bonus! If your like me and yage unruly hair and need a dryer to make the hair striaght but not kill it, this is it! And its a beautful hair dryer and light. Color is modern. Not that that matterns but its a plus!

When i first used this blow dryer, it was blowing cool air. I started pressing all the buttons and it didnt seem to change. I had to just go bad to my conair blow dryer with an attachment I bought for it. I knew there had been reviews on cool air but I tried it once more before I returned it. Pressed the cool shot button again and right away it started blowing hot air. Luckily for this blow dryer, you actually dont have to hold the cool shot button which is such a plus. Try it before you return it. I still bought it because I feel the need to try things myself anyway. But i absolutely love it!

Pricey but worth every penny. It cut my drying time down from 30 minutes to 10!!! Not joking at all. I use to dread blow drying my hair but I love it now.

When I saw this dryer, not only was it aestectically pleasing but I wanted to support black owned. Its perfect for diffusing. It doesn't get as hot as I would like for a blowout .

I was hesitant with this purchase, because of the price tag, but I'm so glad I did end up buying it. This dryer cut my drying time in half (from about 20 minutes to less than 10 minutes). I started with the comb, but the brush, OMG! It stole the show. My hair was silky smooth after using it.

this blow dryer is perfect for curly and coily hair! the reviews that state it doesn't get hot are incorrect; they just didn't read the instructions. the blow dryer has a "cool shock" button that will turn hair cold. there are three additional temperatures on the blow dryer. the diffuser piece is my fav! makes wash & gos super easy

I usually use revair but I recently moved so it's in storage, and the cheap Conair I bought ended up smoking and damaging my hair. Plus the buttons were hard to use so this blow dryer solves a lot of design issues. The revair is also heavy as heck so having a light beautiful hair too is always a vibe. This was so easy to use. I love the brush attachment the most! It really helps give me silky smooth results! I also used the ion setting and the cooling setting to seal my cuticles! I use other pattern products and tools and this one is one I'm proud of. As a designer, I loved the packaging, color choices, and it solves a lot of functional issues of its predecessors. As a black woman I loved the shade of brown and the poetry. I felt seen. The brush tool is unique to Pattern and each is the attachments really help you achieve any style you need. The brush and ion setting smoothed my hair sooooo smooth that I realized how damaged my ends were from the old blow Dryer bc i couldn't easily come through my hair with it. So in the end it helped me see the problem areas in my hair (fairy knots and split ends galore) and remove them! Thanks Tracee!

I've had this dryer for a month and I'm ready to give an honest review. This dryer is amazing! The diffuser is wide and drys hair quickly! The pronged attachment helps lift flattened wash and go's, The comb attachment is AHMAZING! The bristle placements glide through hair. I haven't used the concentrated nozzle bc I don't wear my hair straight. I appreciate the innovation of the dryer. You can tell a lot of research and input from naturals we're considered when creating this dryer. Now… there are several complaints about the dryer not heating up. If you have the "cold" button pressed, the dryer will not blow hot.

I bought this blow dryer and it didn't blow any hot air. i thought it might just be a defective one so i exchanged it for a new one and it broke within the first use. returned it for a less expensive dryer that's sturdier and works so much better.

I bought this blowdryer and I just want someone to tell me is it supposed to blow hot air? because mine doesn't, it only blows cold air and three different level. Is it only supposed to blow cold air or is mine broken? I'll be able to rate it better if I knew.

I was skeptical about the comb attachment at first, but quickly realized that I could do bigger sections which reduces my drying time. I love the brush attachment, which allows me to get closer to the root and grabs all the hair at the nape of the neck. When I'm going curly the diffuser is great! Love the double lock for the attachments. They never fall off. I can also dry my hair on medium heat and still get done faster than with my old dryer. 10/10 recommend!

I have had issues with over drying (get frizzy) and would throw out the dryer and I would just air dry my hair. Sometimes the results are not as good as blow drying. Then I saw this new dryer from Pattern and thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I can use a blow dryer again. 🙂 The diffuser for is great for my curls.

I watched a few reviews on YouTube and was intrigued by the brush attachment. I figured I'd try it and return if I didn't like it as I was sure it was all hype. After using it, I have to walk back my assumptions. The wide tooth comb was great because I did not have any snags as I would with a regular comb attachment. The brush is the true star attachment, I was able to get a near salon like blow out using that attachment. It is an honorable mention that I am able to handle the dryer without burning my hand. What I don't like is the price, of this dryer. I believe it would sell better if it was $99. It is not likely I would use the concentrator nozzle, but when summer comes I will make use of the diffuser.

This is the best blow dryer I have ever used on my hair. The attachments stay on the blow dryer while in use and it drys my hair super fast.

I'm not going to lie, but I definitely bought this because I thought it was cute (well someone else did). But I feel like it did a better job than my blowdryer brush and I used the same sized sections. The comb attachment doesn't do much for my type 4 hair, but the brush attachment is great! To me, it did get super hot at least for my hands and I believe I had it on the highest heat setting. It can get greasy pretty fast from the oil on your hands.

Works on 3b-4c hair like a charm! The attachments lock on so no more worrying about them coming off. I love the brush attachment.

Bought the blow dryer from Ulta and was going to return as I heard it was for mixed hit types. I used it and used the brush attachment and oh my it is EVERYTHING. The packaging alone screams money lol. But well thought out. It's as if Tracee has thought about everything a black woman needs in a blow dryer. I'm truly impressed. It's light so that your hands don't hurt when you do ur hair. I have coily hair and blow dry it from time to time to give me relief when styling. I will no longer dread wash days thanks to this blow dryer! My hair is think too and the brush attachment went through effortlessly for the most part and didn't break off or tangle my hair AT ALL. The teeth look dangerous but are not. The plastic is durable and won't melt like the other brands. The high heat wasn't extremely hot but hot enough to do the job. I'm so glad I spent the money to get a super high quality product that does what it says it will do. Packaging was over the top impressive. 1st impression was Okkk Tracee! You did that

Buy the blowdryer!!!!!! If you have any negative thoughts in this blowdryer something is wrong with you! I've owned several pricey blowdryers like T3 that are really not worth the price tag. First off what blowdryer do you get 5 attachments for under $200 . Typically the blow dryer is $200 and each attachment is $20 each. So win there. Second, the darn attachments are hair changing innovative products for the WIN. I use the pick/comb to stretch my roots and loosen my curls. I hate first day hair! It makes it so easy to do in minutes. I also straighten my hair a lot. Game changer Denman attachment make it super easy and quick. The blow dryer is gorgeous and comes in gorgeous packaging that you can use to keep for storage. Lastly, it make managing curls so much easier!!!! Trust me!!!! Also, the temp settings are great! If you don't like the dryer it's the operator not the product!

This dryer is perfect! Gave me great results on my blowout and I love that it comes with all the attachments and they lock in place so I don't have to worry about it popping off while doing my hair

I absolutely love this blow dryer. I love the different attachments, they are all easy to use. When following the instructions of using Pattern's leave in conditioner and heat protectant, before styling, my hair feels moisturized, while still being blown out. Normally my hair is dry when it's blow dryer, but these products really work for my hair and I'm in love. I definitely recommend this blow dryer!
