I was so excited to try some new colored eyeliner but was sorely disappointed. Before application, I noticed that the colors on the actual bottle don't match the box at all, so that there me off. When I applied it, it went on nicely but I had to go over it a couple more times since the pink, yellow, and lilac ones were almost transparent. The other colors were nice to put on. The one thing I hated was when it dries. First off, it doesn't dry as the same colour it totally looks different. Second, the texture was horrible, it dries like paint, chips like paint, and looked like paint (look at swatches pic w/o flash to see the paint like texture). Lastly, the brush is too thick in my opinion, it made it hard to do details on my liner. It reminds me of a thin pigmented layer of liquid latex. That means you can achieve a nice neat intense line, but it will not hold up against any sort of contact. If you're vigilant about not touching your eyes throughout the day like me, that's just fine. And then it peels off in a clean strip with no staining when I take off my makeup. But it's definitely not going to withstand any rubbing and put on anything that might need blending well before you apply this product.Cute5Miami mama from Miami flThese apply fine. The teal color is really cute and with a black wing to anchor it - its an easy way to add color to your daily life. The red is more of a warm brown. Again very daily wearable. It makes blue eyes pop! The waterproof version of this it comes in the standard brown and black colors is trash. So if you've tried those, it's a totally different product or just the same packaging. So when i offer to take my niece to see the Barbie movie and she tells me that i have to wear pink makeup i went on the hunt. I needed something affordable since i dont do pink ever for anything. I can always count on NYX to be a hreat product thay wint break the bank. This was a surprisingly great product. I went in store and tried their testers to get the color i wanted so that was no problem for me. I tested this out twice before movie day and this stuff STAYS on. Careful while you're letting it dry that it doesnt end up smearing when you blink. The applicstor brush is very small so you'd have to work at building a thick line. My hands arent too steady so there was little room for error which is not great for a novice. The packaging and design are pretty nice. Sadly, I have to say I'm disappointed. The applicator is weird and narrow which makes it difficult to draw a good wing. I had a hard time getting more product on the applicator after the first use. Once it dries, it does seem very chalky and almost cakey. The color looks the same as the box to me, so no issue there I got it in the light blue. First day I wore it no flaking however the second day I wore it, it flaked like paint chips. It was literally flaking in two hours. And the applicator is hard to work with.
