I've been using claw clips for years, and my hair is so heavy that I know exactly what size and shape I usually need for them to work. This clip is beautiful but it seemed like it was going to be too streamlined to work. However I don't know if it's the quality of the clip or the very small little "teeth" on the inside of it, but wow it worked so well. It stayed in place without being painful and held my hair well. I would definitely buy different colors or styles, because I still an impressed that it works as well as it does.
