With it officially being Fall, these pumpkin eye patches are the perfect addition to my daily skincare routine. Pumpkin is loaded with lots of vitamins and enzymes. It is naturally soothing, hydrating and plumping. I really enjoy using these TonyMoly Plump-kin Retinol Eye Patches! They are a gel like texture and feel cooling on my eyes. I am a huge fan of TonyMoly and knew that I would love these! I make sure not to use these when I use any of my glycolic acid skincare, as they contain retinol. I am in my late 30's and have a toddler, so it's natural that I suffer from fine lines and dark circles under my eyes. I use these Eye patches at night before bed and have started to notice that under my eyes are looking brighter and the darkness is almost gone. Vitamins C, A and E, Collagen, Pumpkin Extract, Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid are ingredients included in these patches. They help to help diminish fine lines, dark circles and wrinkles without irritating your delicate skin under your eyes. These are once of the few eye patches that I've actually noticed a difference with and hope that they stay available year round.Most Helpful Critical ReviewIt's ok— pretty disappointingI bought this mainly because I wanted something to de-puff my eyes. I've always had extreme dark circles, and I knew that no product was going to completely combat this. But, I was hoping that this would at least soothe and de-puff my under eyes. However, this is so very messy to use. They include a small spatula but this is pretty much impractical unless you're planning on cleaning out the spatula after every use it since it gets submerged in the serum anyway. The only reason that the spatula is helpful is to separate each patch. But honestly, it's so messy, that you'll probably need to use your fingers anyway. This brings me to my second point, the patches are SO FLIMSY. I don't have acrylics on and my nails are relatively short. Every time I try to hold on to a patch and if my nails are anywhere near it, they break down immediately and start to tear. It just makes the whole thing feel so cheap. And lastly, it just doesn't feel like it does anything. I was very realistic going into this. I just wanted something that would depuff my eyes and since this has retinol, I was hoping for some brightening effect. Somehow, I was left with even drier and duller under eyes?? I've used it for about 3 times now and this has been the case each time. But the shape of the actual eye patches is a little funny and doesnt fit my face shape too well (Oval with very prominant cheek bones). They slide down continually and i have to adjust them. Normally I have no issue with handling the eye patches and they typically stay. These? These slide off my face within just a few minutes of use. Like after several trials, I tried not messing with them at all and 8 minutes into the 15-20 recommended minutes one of the patches had migrated to just above my lipline and the other was barely hanging on by my jawline. I'm also frustrated that after attempted regular use (I mean, as regular as it can be since it needs to be constantly readjusted), these eye patches have offered little proof of effectiveness. Literally I've seen similar results from my ice roller so I think any changes I have seen before v after is related to just the temperature difference rather than the eye patches themselves. Ultimate verdict: trash. I had a much more pleasant experience with the PIXI eye patches and I truly just can't find a way to make these effective.
