I love to curl my hair and my other straightener wasn't giving me the curls that I wanted, they didn't have volume. I tried this in a rush & hello volume! My hair was even slightly damp & it curled my hair with ease. I was shocked at how quickly I was able to curl my hair with it! This is definitely a hair tool that I recommend to everyone! I love how it has the air blowing effect and the temperature settings are perfect! This gave me curls that lasted days! It feels well made. It heats up quickly. If you don't want the noise (which isn't super loud) of the air blowing you can turn it off. I feel like the air burst helps with volume. It has been definitely the worst iron I have ever used. -First of, its tiny, the plates are ridiculously small. You have to work in very small strands. -The fan annoyed me the most. It's not loud but it makes noise loud enough to wake a sleeping baby or to even bother anyone sleeping. I do not need noise while ironing my hair, it's silly. -Same button to turn on and off AND to control heat. Button will definitely get damaged with constant use. - Does not get hot enough for curly hair, no way this is strong enough for course hair. It left my hair a frizzy mess. -The results were awful, so much frizz that I didn't even finish, I tied it and washed it at night. I read so many comments about how the air helps the hair receive less damage, don't think that is necessarily true. The "steam" that one sees when applying heat is not the hair burning exactly, its the moisture leaving from the hair. In other words, its the water in the hair fiber that is being evaporated. The heat is necessary to stretch out the fiber that's why when stylists work on ones hair it comes out spectacular because they are using the heat and stretching out the fibers immediately.
